Thanks so much, I’ve tried to go back 2 times since to redo it and to explore it some more because now I have better filming equipment but one trip was canceled due to high winds and the 2nd one was way to mercy from all the weather. Hopefully I can get back there soon, I love that island!
@@Snorktastic If you had to recommend only two of those spots to snorkel, which would you choose? I’ll be there in a week. I dislike only seeing one or two fish, as that happened to me when I visited Grand Cayman.
You’re welcome, I’m so glad to help and that you like them. I have another 6 videos still to upload, lol, and I’ve got 3 more cruises to go on this year, with some new ports to find new places to snorkel. So stay tuned!
Great video. Was just there last week, and apparently they put a handful of lemon sharks in the lagoon area (North and South Beach) that we swam with! Next time you’re there it’s worth grabbing some shots! 👍🏽
That’s awesome to know, I haven’t been back since the renovation. I almost booked a last minute cruise there this week but instead I booked one going to half moon cay. Now I wish I would have booked with MSC to see them. Hopefully I’ll get there soon. Thanks for the info!
Spot 1 was between 6 and 8 foot, not too deep and easy to dive , spot 2 was 5 to 6 foot deep. I’m sure the tides affect it a bit but it was a pretty good beginner area
This is the best ocean cay snorkeling video I’ve seen. Thank you

Wow, wish we'd found your channel 30 cruises ago! Finding good beach snorkeling a major interest of ours. Thanks so much for sharing all this info.

I LOVE this idea fora channel. Such a perfect fit for what I’m always looking for. New sub here!
I really appreciate it, I’ve got about 6 more videos to upload, and I’m going on a lobstering keys fishing trip this week, so stay tuned, lol

what is the water depth for spot 1 and 2?

Great video! What food were you using to attract the fish?
Thankyou, I normally just use white bread
Did you do the shipwreck snorkel?
No, but I want to, it looks good, and you can see where they do it from the ship. I think that will be on a future visit there
