She's not only a great Pianist, she's also an amazing person, saw her knock over a drink on stage and she started cleaning it up till the stage crew made her stop, after "Trio Project" bassist Anthony Jackson had a stroke she started carrying his bass up and down stairs and onto stage for him.
@@imstankface I'm just crying because I discovered right now that last month she was 300 km from where I live the day of my birthday! I could have celebrated my 61 years in the best way ever.
Hiromi is awesome! Her duet with Chick Corea playing her tune Old Castle, By the River, In the Middle of the Forest is one of my favorite things on TH-cam
I too have only very recently been introduced to Hiromi and oh my starz and garters...this woman is insanely talented. She currently has a trio and has posted some uuuhhhh, I have no worthy words, fiery live music. Let me recommend "Move" with Simon Phillips (a legend on drums) and Anthony Jackson (another legend on bass) watching their faces as they play with Hiromi says everything about just how amazing she is. I'll post the link. Watching your face while watching this video was for me like staring in a mirror. "Move" th-cam.com/video/1rxYw7Y45Eo/w-d-xo.html
Great channel. Instant sub. This is ridiculous. And your reactions are hilarious. My grandad was a pianist and every time I saw him the first thing we’d do is play. He’d bang out boogie woogie and trad jazz tunes. That was crazy, but I thought of him.

She was born in Hamamatsu City, where Yamaha is headquartered.
So she was born with a Yamaha piano.
Hiromi is exceptional in everything she does. Had the pleasure to see her in concert twice, and each time is just an otherworldly experience.
Sounds like a dream. Would love to see her play! Sadly Bulgaria isn't that populated as a country so chances are mild at the moment.

I discovered her with that video and I cried of joy, so touching I was so moved.
Holy sh*t! 😳She's playing that crazy fast stride piano style and not even looking at her hands!🤯
RIGHT!? She's just having fun while playing just imagining the show :D
Too much good Hiromi out there to look at. This is a lot of fun.
More coming up next! :D ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪
Hiromi composed this at the age of 17 when she was studying at Berkeley. Her teacher/professor was so impressed that he introduced her to Chick Corea.
She’s super talented 🎶💖
