As a huge Till fan….I also had the same reaction. Like watching a car crash, couldn’t stop laughing or look away. Very confusing indeed.
Despite Till's appearance in his Solo Lindemann videos or with Rammstein as a band he's one of the kindest and handsome german musicans you can imagine. :)
He rarely gives any interviews or appears on galas or in public at all, because in fact he's kinda 'shy' and won't stand in the lights or focus for himself. It's completely the opposite when he
enters the stages all around the world. Then he 'changes' 180° to that lyrical and outstanding performing man (he'd become 60 years already in January this year :p) we all know. :D

My friend has a theory about this album, and its videos. She thinks Till is in Hell for torturing women. I never thought of that, but if you watch all the videos, think about the album title, and read the lyrics to Ach So Gern, it makes perfect sense. Till is a genius!

Fun Fact:
This song is from the album 'M&F' which was mostly made up of songs Till wrote, and performed, in his eldest daughter's stageplay BDSM reinterpretation of 'Hansel and Gretel'. I think 'Platz Eins' wasn't one of the songs for the theater piece, but 'Knebel' was! The stageplay starred Till in the schoolgirl uniform he's wearing in 'Mathematik' as 'the phantom'.
I'm somewhat jealous of his daughters and grandkids to be honest.
Family conversations are probably far more fun and free than in most other households. It would surely be pretty liberating to openly engage in various frowned-upon activities or lifestyles, like BDSM or polyamory, and not be judged to all hell by your family. Plus awesome music!

This was the song that made Peter Tägtgren left Lindemann band . He used to take care about music, and Till about image. So, Peter is not the type of guy and musician who loves porn or explicit sex in music videos. However, he always remained very professional working with Till until the last day.
I'm not buying it, he was fine with every song being sexual but this put him over the edge? Nowhere has he said why so everything is rumor at this point.
@@chelleb3055 I mean LINDEMANN was not supposed to be a solo project. It was supposed to be a collaboration between Peter & Till. Peter was not happy with name of the band. Also he was basically in the back seat the whole time. Till got all the attention. I think he just felt that he was doing most of the work and getting none of the recognition. Nobody likes to feel used. I’m sure there was plenty of resentment between those two.

I wasn't sure if this was Till's body in the sex scenes or if he used a body double. I saw another video showing more footage, and it was really Till having sex in the video.

The video isn't sexy in the least becasue it depicts the disturbing life of a narcissistic, washed-out, dying, rockstar that can't be satisfiend anymore no matter how much attention, extreme sex, and fame he has. It also shows how damaging and egocentric that 'midlife-crisis' is for a lot of people surrounding him. You're supposed to be disgusted by the protagonist, the character Till plays :D
He wears Gene Simmons famous outfit (from KISS), which may be a personal criticism. Rammstein played together with KISS on the Family values tour way back then and several members of Rammstein idolized Kiss members quite heavily. They might have seen a reality backstage that they didn't expect to see, in some interviews they talk about how they partied way too heavily in America because they felt it was expected from rock stars.
I agree, Till does have quite a few issues, but I think this video is absolutely in character with what he usually does and gives exactly the messge he wants it to give!
I can't really understand the people that claim this video is a direct reflection of his character & sex-life and suddenly complain about him being a misogynist lol
