@fishingsister I've been to Yorks a few times. Love it there. We live at Sellicks Beach. Love it here. For 25 years. But when we get the caravan, we will explore further. So exciting. 8 weeks wait for it to arrive home.
@fishingsister wow. So close. I might bump into you fishing down the beach. Sellicks and silver sands are better than aldinga fishing off the beach. Channel or gitter runs through them. Fish loves it.
Well done guys! If I may be so bold, as to offer some friendly advice... You will find it easier bring in your fish, particularly the larger fish, by lifting the rod more vertically. The rod helps absorb the stress on the line, and you'll also have more control.

Loads of great local knowledge and makes me want to do a SA fishing roadtrip this winter! Do you guys plan to do any fresh water fishing, or other states coasts in the future? I also want to get over to WA after watching Gido.

Yes I made that up so I could quickly find out what I'd caught and if I could keep it (being a novice 😉).
