Boop bat has soul into it bc we use the soul of the samples and chop it up to not our ears but to how we feel. This is what heat displayed here, your see him working with his eyes closed and feeling it while he's creating. Boom bap is art!
Hey Joshua. I know exactly how you feel. It's almost like there is a hole in my heart and boom bap fills it up. It is so intangible and I can't articulate it.
I was one of the producers who used to make those trap type beats on youtube. Some people suggested me to start making boom bap. i wasnt really enjoying it at first but i watched your videos and made what came out. now i understand the beauty of boom bap. thank you man u helped me a lot
My main objective is to understand other producers' processes and method of thinking. Not trying to make beats like them at all, but gain an appreciation behind their processes. Thx for demonstrating bc you're pretty spot on.
thats how I think as well. I always watch others to understand their point of view. not to copy but to see how I can incorporate pieces of what one might do.

Heat can you please make a video on how to go about this as an artist and a producer... Love boom bap, the culture of boom bap involves sampling creating new bodies of work... Not that we can't make original bodies of work but in terms of wanting to just do the music and release it... And want to do it the right way... Sample clearance is kinda limiting the craft and the music... We live in another country where currency really makes it harder to even consider clearing samples if we will have to and don't want to just drop and maybe won't get hit... What do you think?
@@joshuaaubreytshepomartin9455 that’s their responsibility.
