I went to check out this listing. It was absolutely stunning, all the way to the top of road, heated driveway, amazing architectural design and the detailing was really thought out. My only problem on why my mom & I didn’t bite the bullet, was that if I recall there was about 1000sqft more or less that was not built in the basement. That much vacant space. For such a high price that in North Van.

Wow that is up there in the foothills. Beautiful property to be sure (wish I could afford it : ) That prep kitchen is a lot nicer than my full kitchen (that lacks a prep kitchen). The only thing I don't like is that crazy driveway.

What a beautiful house and a wonderful video! however if i might suggest 1 thing the editing is a little weak, especially the cuts between scenes makes it hard to follow the flow and layout of the house.

Why are all these contemporary interior designers afraid of color? I can't believe anyone would buy this place and leave the current color pallet untouched. It looks like the interior of a bank or a mausoleum.
I'm guessing it's this way so as to not offend any buyers with a specific color scheme, but going through it would put me off big time.
Yes, designers are trending towards more neutrals. They tend to be appeal to the buyers, like a blank slate for them to bring their own personal touches. You could easily add colour with paint, art and furniture. Thanks for watching!

It’s SO hard to figure out the approximate dimensions of this beautiful home because the videographer used lenses that ridiculously distorted lengths, widths, depths, ceilings- everything. It’s a trend that’s hugely annoying. I went to look at a condo in my city that I had seen on YT only to discover that the unit overall was so tiny it bore no resemblance whatsoever to the video I watched. I’d love to know why realtors allow it. Yes I understand the apartments and homes look great with such deceptive filming but it’s just so dishonest from a buyer’s point of view.
We have professional floor plans done for all of our listings. You can contact the listing agent if you'd like one of this property, just let us know :) This channel is for "home tours" so the audience gets a glimpse into some lovely properties. It's meant to be a beautiful cinematic experience, not an attempt to distort room sizes.

@@evexclusive actually a few of the bathroom layout are odd. The powder room basically in the kitchen seem poorly thought out. It would be better closer to the main entrance.nobody need to be preparing dinner while looking into a bathroom .
Again in the sauna bathroom in the basement. The toilet showed be in a separate both or at least a partition wall.
@@johnwaters4566 almost ALL large N. or West Vancouver homes are on a slope, so they CRY OUT for an elevator. Easy peasy to put in DURING the build; doesn't need commercial/public approval. Add the car level and often you have four/five levels in these areas. And don't get my talking about Coquitlam: five levels.
why do they always build more bathrooms than bedrooms? like people can't hold their pee walking around the big house? anyways, I'll put down an offer....
Maybe because more than one person can sleep in a bedroom like a couple, or two kids in a bedroom, but when in a bathroom people want to have their privacy 😊
because when you have a house this large, would a guest go into a bedroom to reach a toilet? it the living room or the rec room is 1000 sq feet, how far should someone walk to go pee?

Too big, too cold, not cozy at all. Love the outdoor space and the view is magnificent. The inside looks nice but like I said very much lacking that homey, cozy vibe.
The view & the outdoor space are magnificent! You could definitely decorate the home to make it more cozy. The modern look is not for everyone:)

that exactly why its styled this way. if there was purple / oak wood, brocade furniture, mid-century modern, modern farmhouse, look , then it might turn off the potential buyer. if you were a buyer, you would want to like the room and predict what style you could bring it.
