The best way to cook clams is to let them sit in the water until they poop all their sands and their shells will also open. Then boil a separate water with all the seasonings or whatever you like to add flavors. When the water boils, turn off the heat then put the clams for only like 10-15 seconds so the clams wont shrink. It will also become much more tender and juicier
When First State was growing up he only ate MOZZARELLA STICKS 😂😂😂 Absolutely no ketchup or marinara sauce! Who knew he’d be eating razor clams etc. way to go adventure man! 😊 Love this video ❤
It's good to start with 24 hours. Study and practice survival. After you practice a bit what you study, building fires with dried brush and sticks. Then, you learned to build a shelter, finally setting traps and catching fish.😊
@FirstStateFishing you can get red or plumb colored finess worms. Then get procure bloodworm scent fish love it. I use it and get a ton of bites. They also have, sweet corn, eel shrimp and trophy bass by procure i use all those attractants. I also use proline. Nightcrawler, herring shad and creyfish when large mouth or small mouth bass fishing. 😊
Razor clams taste like lobster claw. Just steam the clams no boiling u need like 1 inch of water not full pot. Soon as they open they r good to go. Peel the green out from the center n ur good to go. U can go fancy French style n just eat to foot.
check your local laws, when I was a kid in Fla, we would gig for flounder with a lantern. (50+ yrs ago) Oh, supposed to steam the razor clams, chewy=overcooked) Enjoy the videos, FISH ON! 🎣😊👍🥳🎣
"Pier life is different" FRFR theres always something going on. Everytime I go to my Pier in North East, Maryland, theres always some kind of drama. Lol :)
Wow an actual Delaware person I thought everybody was an import but me I love so far have only seen two or three vids I just found out yesterday that you have a channel about Delaware fishing. Fantastic hopefully you can help me find some great places plus it would be cool if you put in your description the locations
Hey man just an idea I see a lot of people boiling their clams in the ocean water I don’t exactly know how it works considering I’m from Michigan but I guess it keeps that natural ocean flavor in them. I’m not sure how you feel about that but definitely try it sometime I bet you won’t regret it 🤙🏼 god bless bro and keep up the work I love the videos Man
Oh no, people not bowing down to the state, whatever will we do! Don't get me wrong, I understand the good fishing licenses do for fisheries and inland lakes + rivers, saltwater licenses are an outright scam though.
If you get a small hook and collect some snails then break the snails shell and extracting the snails from it then you have the perfect and I mean the best bait.
I hear you brother snags suck. I caught fish 2 small catfish and a tank smallie. In the process, I lost a paddle tail and 3 7 inch leader line with baitholder hooks. 🤪
Honestly where I fish on the maryland eastern shore at Kent Narrows, Romancoke, ect the game wardens only check to see if you are keeping under sized fish they don't even ask for a license they literally go strait to your cooler
What other kinda vids do yall wanna see this summer? 🤔🔥
Can you hart my comment because I was first please
3 day survival with 150 dollars or somewhere around their Walmart challange
Snake bait fishing
Using a snake for bait
You should fish in NJ

this is adorable, much love from the FirstStateFishing Community!!!!
I laughed so hard when you said a bit chewy, that long clam was almost the same texture as a elastic band. Really enjoyed the video.
You're like a cross between a Disney princess with a fishing rod and a wholesome frat bro - unexpected combination but I'm not complaining.
Love the new videos where you’re back in Delaware! Feels like a throwback!
Mosquito Lagoon trip! Big Red fish, Snook and Trout. Plenty of cabins and camping everywhere.🎣
Thank you for not clickbaiting the cops, made for an even more enjoyable video, keep it up man!

Wardens should go there on the weekends. Was on the bridge this past Sunday and honestly it seems a majority may not have licenses ..
Oh no, people not bowing down to the state, whatever will we do! Don't get me wrong, I understand the good fishing licenses do for fisheries and inland lakes + rivers, saltwater licenses are an outright scam though.

Legend has it Steve Irwin watched first state for his marine knowledge
If you get a small hook and collect some snails then break the snails shell and extracting the snails from it then you have the perfect and I mean the best bait.
Scaling, taking off the head and gutting the small ones is the only way to go. That bone adds flavor.
I really appreciate the SpongeBob reference after seeing a jellyfish
Better be careful joe biden might be on the beach and trip on your fishing rods lol
Woody:there's a snake in my boots
Sea Woody:there's a snail in my boots
I just started to learn how to fish last weak in ocean city. No luck but fun
I live in Berlin but I work in Lewes - OC as a Realtor , i been seeing horseshoe crabs on the surface while fishing the 50 bridge lately
For spot just use dead shrimp works like a charm for most fish that feed on shrimp
I hear you brother snags suck. I caught fish 2 small catfish and a tank smallie. In the process, I lost a paddle tail and 3 7 inch leader line with baitholder hooks. 🤪
You gotta get some oil or something for the fish man lol
Suggestion do more then a day cuz if u just don't eat for a day u will be hungry but will be fine if u do like a week it's a real challenge
On such a hot day... why in the world do you have on a long sleeve hoodie w with thy hood up? I just have to know
Banger
Those razor clams are best steamed. Also it might have been tough since you cooked it for way too long
I also use frog scent by proline as well. Yes i listed a ton of attractants i missed one.
Honestly where I fish on the maryland eastern shore at Kent Narrows, Romancoke, ect the game wardens only check to see if you are keeping under sized fish they don't even ask for a license they literally go strait to your cooler
