The Ford Fiesta was only £1800 brand new back then. So it's either 2 Bosches or a brand new car. Now a £2000 miele can be bought 12 times over for the price of brand New Ford Fiesta (well 2023 model since Ford ditched its best selling car)
☹️ ~ unfortunate that you couldn’t demonstrate the dryer function as the heater elements for it have “shorted to earth” as I assume because it is vintage they are obsolete and can’t be replaced 😔, the shuttle cool-down looked similar to the rinse cycle on the compact Eudora washing machines
Wow amazing washing machine. It looks and sounds like professional - commercial washer. Beautiful video!
Good to see the machine. My Aunt had this same one back in the mid 80’s . For its time was a good machine but very expensive!
i remember fixing these when i was learning the job in the 90s, great machines!! the dry heaters should be wired in series from memory
If this machine was £700 in 1979 it would cost over £4400 today.
And people complain about the cost of living today. No wonder most people either bought white goods second hand or rented them back them.

this vintage washer dryer is ultra rare, too bad I haven't seen it at home in France
No interim spins is very poor, even for the time the machine came out. Otherwise good drum size which will make the spin more effective.
Nice Edit 😍

The drying heating elements have shorted to earth, causing the machine to trip the fuse board
changing the bearings of this washer dryer means dismantling
Vintage années 1980
needs new bearings
No it dosernt
