Just got one of these, but already had a Wampler Faux Delay Deluxe and a TC Electronics Hall of Fame Reverb on my board. To my ears, it's tough to discern the differences between the Ethereal and the combo of HOF and Faux Delay. There ARE differences, but $200 bucks or so difference? Not sure.
Don't get me wrong -- the Ethereal is pretty awesome. If I had gotten the pedals in the reverse order (Ethereal first and HOF & Faux Tape Delay second, I'd probably return the HOF & Faux Delay since the Ethereal covers it all with the exception of tap delay.
@@MrTPF1 Tom , something that i did not understand of this pedal , is how can i use the reverb only when i'm strumming, and engage the delay for the solos parts and keep my hands on the instrument while i'm playing? This information would be very useful . Thank you so much. Patrick from Italy 👋
@@MrTPF1 that's what i thought, too bad . Wampler should put two switches that you can use with your foot, to make reverb and delay totally indipendent. I already have the Mini Hof, but i will soon change it with the Wampler Faux and i will add the Carbon Copy made by Mxr. Thank you so much, my best regards , Patrick from Italy 👋
