I arrived at Mo Bay Airport 3 days ago from the UK. Plane landed at 3.20 and I was driving the hire car by 4.30. The system has been upgraded so you scan your passport yourself, and the lines move much more quickly. Can't recall a 2 hour wait in the past 10 yrs, I go there all the time 🇯🇲

We just got back from Jamaica. Another way to get around the line madness is to take a very late night (like 11pm - 2pm). We took a 1am flight out of JFK to Jamaica and when we arrived in Kingston, there was no passport/customs line at all. We flew right through it. We ended up leaving out of Montego Bay the same way - quick security. Also our key to getting cheaper flights and breezing through security is going on”off” days and not leave or return Friday through Sunday or any day before or after major holidays and school vacations.

In 12 trips to MBJ we have never used Club Mobay on arrival. Our longest wait at immigration was about an hour and that was back in 2011 before they installed the immigration kiosks. Since then our average wait time has been less than 10 minutes and our best time to get from the plane through immigration and customs andto the arrivals hall where you can get your ride was 6 minutes 3 seconds. So no, we do not use Club Mobay. The length of the lines at immigration is highly variable and generally the longest lines are from 1:00 to 3:00pm.

We went to Jamaica in 2010 (so long ago) and after an overnight stay in London coming from Ireland and 11h on the plane we had to face the darn immgration que. I don't know if that exsisted back then but defo will be doing it next time!
On a similar note, especially for WW to use on the next Irish video: anyone flying out of Dublin, get fast track and book with DAA (the airport body) not the airline because then you get your free coffee and duty free discounts. In a city that still hasn't a rail or metro connection to the airport, fast track has saved many a traveller delayed by unforseen delays.

Going to guess that those who disliked were long time Club Mobay users...
the secret is out about arriving and departure probably means more people using Club Mobay..means longer arrival lines, .. means more crowded departure lounge.. more demand will probably increase the cost..
Sometimes it’s not a good idea share a great thing.

Travel is stressful enough without having to wait in long lines. Plus, my time is worth more than $35 so this is a bargain.

Hey! I’m going to Cancún in May. Is the check in process the same as Jamaica with with long lines or no?

It seemed like the cancun lines went a bit faster than Jamaica.

We are going to Jamaica in a month and a half. If the Mobay line is longer than the passport line, I'm personally holding you responsible 😉

Everyone can do club mobay, go on the website and book it. It doesn't matter which country you are coming from.

Well you pay for the service, I use to work at club mobay so I know. Same as if you want to fly first class you pay for it.

I always wonder why countries with a lower standard of living have the worst passport control.

With all these good services at the airports in Jamaica, and you don't see no well thinking Jamaican making a video. To passed on the information to people going to Jamaica, all they does is to come on You Tube videos. Making videos with their negativity against Jamaica, because they does not want to see the country moves forward.
It took a Whiteman from the United States to make a very important video about Jamaica, how good it is there. But the nasty negative people from Jamaica, all they can see infront of them is pure negative things about the court. Some of them is claiming how long they are living in the United States where the crimes, is committed right infront of their eyes and.
They ignores it,by pretending to knows nothing about it ,but everything they heard about Jamaica. They are very much have it on light poles with their loud mouth, making it a mockery liked.
Where they are living it is so safe more than Jamaica, the way some of them is behaving.
Some of them does not want to hear the good things about Jamaica, they always glorifying the negative things.
You will never lived to see one of the Jamaican bloggers making a video of this nature ,with vital information to help people.
They only believes in gossiping with other people's business, and their business is spoilt.

Good Morning, thanks for this upload I use the captions to watch videos, I can't hear. Could you tell me if you mentioned having any trouble recording or taking photos in the Sangster International Airport?
    Before luggage.
