Empty truck and tank is approx 16 tons loaded and is just over 36 ton load and the tank has no baffles so has the same effect if you turn a bottle of water on its side and move it and that will show the effect
@ant7699 yes the movement is called surge and as you get use to it you use it to assist with saying acceleration overtaking etc as the products moves backwards and forwards and you can feel the movement.If you stop too quick though it goes against you because if you hard brake then count to three you have roughly 22 tons of liquid slamming forward which hits the bulkhead of the trailer and can feel like you just slammed into
