@@StanleyFoss , did you hear about the new video game that is based on this franchise? Also, speaking of creepy clown stuff, I used to live in a place that was also in Nevada that was called Tonopah and it had a lot of haunted stuff, including a supposedly creepy clown hotel.
Thanks, yeah it’s a fine line, I don’t want to over-share, but then I also don’t want to have too many walls up and make the videos cold. But glad it wasn’t too much 👍🏻
So nice to see this movie locations videos , I’m from Santa Cruz , but I have been living in Los Angeles which sucks , I miss these areas , specially Watsonville’s strawberries festival . Thanks for posting this 🤙🏽
I'm from the central valley, but I have an uncle that lives in capitola, so we would go to santacruz all the time, to this very day it's one of my favorite places and going there is like a spiritual experience for me, like it feeds my soul to be there, the history, the culture, everything about santacruz just brings me endless joy
I live in Watsonville, and the gazebo is off limits because in the past homeless people would sleep in it for shelter and would often vandalize it. So the city put a lock on it.
I always thought it would be so cool to live in a town where a movie is being filmed. Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Salems Lot, etc. Get to watch some of the filming, especially if you were included in a shot. That in my opinion would be the icing on the cake. Have a blessed weekend everyone
It would a stomach if it will released in 2016 I feel like this was supposed to just be a silly movie but turned in the much more but it feels like that now if somebody experiments with the wild movie idea Morley fail the 90s was a different place where you could experiment with any type of idea
Hi there my name is Arturo Castillo I was born & raised in Watsonville California I’ve seen this old movie killer klowns from outer space I go Watsonville all the time because this Watsonville is beautiful city I love Watsonville
Back in 2014 this movie was on Netflix Brazil catalog and I fell in love with it and would watch it nearly every week. It’s so cool to see the filming locations, thank you for the video!
Def one of my faves. I tell people about this movie and they always ask me how the heck did you stumble upon this. And I respond just watch it, you will love it.
I watched your video on Saved By The Bell filming locations then checked the channel and saw my favorite movie of all time here. I first saw Killer Klowns around 1990 when we briefly had HBO, they played it all the time. Cool to see where it was shot.
@@StanleyFoss Yes I was just at the licensing show and they claim its one of the hottest licenses for horror and they're pushing forward to create more movies based on the license.
Excelente trabajo 🎉🤡🎪 muchas gracias, me hiciste volver a mi infancia. También por mostrar las locaciones reales de la película 👏🏻👏🏻 saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱
I see the movie is available on a free streaming service, so I'm gonna watch it! Never caught it in '88. Interesting that you grew up in Watsonville. I know I would love it there, with the cool summer nights, but sunny days.
@@StanleyFoss It was much better than a B movie with bad CGI from today. I liked the 60s style sets they used where the Clowns stored the pods etc., and seeing the locations from your video. It was also good having John Vernon in it. He played the same type of character in lots of movies back then..
I live in Las Vegas and even though I’m 11 I had an obsession watching this movie since I was 4 I would away watch this movie I was laughing when I finally realized I turned 10 and I laughed when I realized shorty and Rudy were just getting high on cocaine
awesome video as usual, thank you so much. Now i'm going to watch this movie for the very first time. Please people give this video more likes! Take care.
@@StanleyFoss Thanks. I really enjoyed it! It inspired me to watch the original and remake of the blob and tonight i'll be watching invaders from mars lol.
You would have thought they would have put some animatronics on the K.C.'s and some LEDs in the eyes. It kind of looks like an afterthought in the amusement.
If I remember correctly the film originally opened with Joe but for some reason it got moved to later in the film. *In the commentary track they mention it*
@StanleyFoss I watched again and screen shot the faces they don't look the same actually. However I recently met Mike Martinez (killer klown Slim) I asked him who was the guy in the car he said it's supposed to be Joe Lombardo
Growing up on this movie I was so scared of randomly coming across those clowns in my city I can only imagine how you must’ve felt 😭
Haha, very true . The clowns could have been anywhere!

So many fascinating locations! Truly excellent post, thank you for all of the effort you put in to this one
Thank you! 👍🏻
Wonderful documentary Stan! Killer Klowns is a favorite of mine. Nice ending there where the Klown faces ended up at the Boardwalk.
Thanks! The scariest part of walking through fright walk is just how loud it is in there! But worth it to see the Killer Klowns at the end.
How fun! I need to see this movie , it’s nice to hear stories from your childhood ❤.
