We joined up with Greg Ellis over on Wraysbury 1's South Lake to talk about one item of tackle that Greg says has 'transformed' his angling in recent years! The Outline Camo Braided Mainline has been developed during the past 2 years on some of the most demanding and tough venues across the UK and Europe. During the testing period, Greg managed to slip the net under the UK's finest carp, in the form of the incredible Burghfield Common! The Outline Camo finish has been incorporated onto a fast sinking braided mainline. The braid features a number of different tones to break up the outline once in situ on the lakebed, meaning you can use it with confidence regardless of the lakebed or terrain you may be faced with, Giving you piece of mind that you are concealing your mainline effectively. Only use it when I'm fishing for pike because the lakes I fish don't allow braid mainline. Your a top angler by the way 👍🎣🎣🇬🇧

5 turn grinner passed through the loop twice before tieing the knot or a palomar knot

When is it available to buy?
I used fox braid in 40lb 30mm cast like rope if I try avid is 30lb right for distant fishing over 100yard eg 30wraps fox 16lb casting line can do at reason any true help plz
It’s just because a sinking braid is much heavier than a floating braid or a mono. Therefore won’t cast as far. If you want a braid for distance look at the Gardner Kinetic distance braid or Berkley Whiplash in 24lb. With these use a shock leader of atleast 30lb to avoid crack offs
