It appears Tennessee can win in a brawl. And they have 3 games at least that may turn into a brawl (Alabama, Georgia and Ky). IMO to compete with those teams particularly Bama and Ga you have to have a legit D line and O line. The players LOVE Josh Huepel

Here's something to also consider. Tennessee pays Nico 2M a year on his NIL deal. So there is an investment that Tennessee has made. In light of this IMO Huepel will consider his investment during games (yes winning is paramount). But I have to assume that he may dial it back or pull Nico if when he thinks he has a game in hand. Do you think this is legit and do you think other teams will do the same?

OU had no offensive line to blow past. They haven't played any snaps as a unit until this game so the had no chohesives forces to work with. Give em a couple games. OU had no complimentary offensive play to help the defense at all. They Will Be a force when they find that teamwork. Tennessee was just luck They aren't an opponent at the end of the season. With some compliments that the Vols were able to take advantage of OUs situation. Don't pat yourselves on the back too hard nor too much you have the other SEC teams to contend with.

What world do you two live on? 1st, a true freshman came in and out scored your offense 12-3 in the 2cd half without a OL. Tn had the ball 15x with 9 three and outs. 6 sacks, 2 fumbles and JH had to change his game plan bc our defense you're niko was hitting the ground and giving the ball up. He didn't want his QB to get hurt. Stop lying ya'll were lucky. Hawkins would of started you lose. We cut your RB avg in half. JH wanted to run it up. These stories are mainly hype. Tennessee holding Jackson Arnold and company was no great feat, as is being portrayed. However, when Arnold was benched, a true freshman, and probably the new starter, took the 3d quarry er to get acclimated to college football, then drove the same offense for two scores against Tennessee.

UT cruised in the 2nd half. Their superior defense had the game in check early and Heupel shutdown the offense. No reason to risk it when you are thoroughly dominating your opponent. TN showed OU how to play defense. Learn football.

This is a comment by someone that has no idea what they are talking about. Garbage time TD vs the 3rd string doesn’t mean he is going to save OU’s season and damn sure doesn’t mean the outcome would have been different IF he played the whole game. If’s don’t win games and neither will OU very often this year in the SEC.

Did you guys watch the same game I did? OU's defensive line was winning against our offensive line. That's not an insult to our o-line. OU just has a really good front 7 and we were down a few linemen. Not all teams are going to have the personnel to take advantage of those injuries. OU absolutely did. The 2 fumbles by Nico were solidly the o-line's fault. They got beat and it caused a fumble. The reason it looked better in the second half is that Coach went conservative and put it on our defense to win. He did that because we were getting beat on the other side of the ball and the risk for more turnovers because of it was too high.
Again, I'm not bashing our o-line. They were dealing with injuries and OU's defense is really good. We have a week to get healthy. Hopefully that will get us back up to strength.
