I'm looking at the website via your link right now. I'm not seeing anywhere that it does a clean HDMI out connection. I would like to hook it up for livestreaming, is that not possible?
My girlfriend just broke up with me. My boy gave me a free fixed gear a few months ago, and I found this channel around the same time. Bro, thank you Terry. I watch your videos when I’m sad and I get hyped to hop on my bike and go mobbing through traffic. Thank you so much big bro. You are keeping me going.
I liked the backpack view. The video game feel is pretty dope. Thanks so much for putting all these videos together, watching them always inspires me to get out and ride
Killer views!! Your thirst to capture great content has created incredible means of filming. Thanks for sharing your journey, as everyone gets to benefit from it as well. Cheers!
I personally like the result of the stem mounted view and also the backpack view. The helmet view is still the best because you can change the direction of the camera by turning your head as long as it has good stabilization feature.
i know nothing about cameras or video production, as an objective viewer the footage when youre moving at decent speeds seems to be more laggy or jumpy than the hotline videos you have produced on this channel, im not sure if i am imagining it or it just has to do with editing but almost gives the effect of looking at a video through a very fast fan or a flip book especially if you move your eyes from the focus point, not sure how constructive this is because again idk wtf im talking about . aethos looks incredible too hope youre enjoying it
Great video showing the different modes and vantage points one could use with this camera. It's versatile for sure! I like the videogame angle the best!
What pants do you ride with? I want something casual but is durable enough to withstand commuting etc. I’m sick and tired of having to tuck my pants into my socks to avoid getting oil around the ankles. Great video btw! 👍🏻
@@khangngo5684 yeh see that’s a good suggestion, but i want something casual that i can use if i’m just commuting to meet up with friends etc. I know it’s not paris fashion week if i’m showing up, but leg warmers are not casual haha.
If you take a 360 shot and then crop it to show a more standard FOV like a GoPro or something would shoot; what kind of resolution does it end up being? Like if it's 5.7k, but I crop to use like 10% of it, what's actually going on there? Seems like it would be a great "Set and Forget" camera to just leave on all the time and then be able to re-frame as required, but I'm guessing that the picture quality wouldn't be anywhere near as good as using the 4k module. Great review, as always.
Nice camera I use to live in bx for 20yrs . I been tru there and bx never dare to touch people's cars . I use to ride mostly to city Island bx Manhattan very few times . I got out now in so Az high deserts mt rides and west coast . Sunny year round .
I liked everything about the loaner bike except the hairstyle; go mullet or go home! Seriously, that bike would be even more awesome with an Eagle XX1 AXS derailleur with a blinged-out 10-50t 12-speed cassette in oil-spill finish with a gold chain?
No HDMI out on this camera, but as terry mentioned it can output video over USB-C as a UVC webcam (works with BELABOX). The image is not stabilized over USB-C, yet. Some IRL community members have lobbied Insta360 to add stab in webcam mode so we shall see.
7:00 I don't like it. Watching the video I don't wanna feel like I'm moving backward. Maybe I'll end up liking it but probly not. Lol. Anyway, great tech. Very cool. Thank you for sharing. 💛 Just found your channel a few days ago. Really liking it. 😊👍 Stay safe out there. 🙏💕
Agree, video is jittery in general, looks like frame skipping, not sure if this happened while recording or maybe during the TH-cam video rendering process.
You guys have a death wish riding through traffic like that... I lost what you were saying watching you hold on to vehicles and squeezing between them... RIP...
Specialized, Trek, and Cannondale are a huge no! Not that they make bad bikes but they are to the core evil companies and all of their policies suck so bad that I personally will never support them, even I had a Cannondale M300 build in the 90s that I absolutely loved but that was before they got bought (And where still 100% US-made) and went to utter shit like Specialized and Trek. As to the views, the backpack, POV, and drone-like one are my faves, not a fan of things that look like a video game.

I know it wasn't really part of the testing but I really liked that unexpected camera handoff in the intro. It was a cool transition.

The third person view is very cool but i like the hotline perspective because I like to see what lines the rider takes, great stuff as ever Terry!
The "tall point of view" looks the best. The "3rd person" was nice as well.
I liked the backpack view. The video game feel is pretty dope. Thanks so much for putting all these videos together, watching them always inspires me to get out and ride

man watching your videos brought back my cycling day memories... i wil start riding again.. been over 10 years
love to hear it
that first transition shot was nice
and fuck, that specialized is clean
Thank you
it's a space ship!

this was awesome, thanks Andrii!

The bike is super-mega-awesone. Camera is very nice, plus points for being modular
I might get one, like the way the clips came out 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
GREAT VIDEO. Thanks ANDRE, the camera is SWEET & the bike is DOPE.
Great video showing the different modes and vantage points one could use with this camera. It's versatile for sure! I like the videogame angle the best!
Some noticeable jitter in the 360 footage. I'd still prefer my GoPro Hero 8 footage over what I saw there. The bike is pretty wicked though.
cool bike , my favorite shot was the drone looking one when it was on andres head w extender . thanks andre!
My favorite is the 3rd person view, I actually want to try that for an alleycat this year.
I saw you with this set up at the start of the 5 Boro yesterday morning. Looking forward to seeing your footage.
Right on!
Thanks for sharing all the different set ups!
Much love from LA! Hoping to get a set up like this for my commutes.
Thought it was really good quality makes watching much more enjoyable… keep ‘em coming….
Thanks Mike
Being wating a video like these for years we find itttt
Very simple & informative to follow
Well done Mr. Terry!
Bad ass bike
Bad ass video game aspect
Bad ass bacon cheeseburgers
Bad ass Andre
PEACE
I still use the GoPro 7. In my opinion, absolutely sufficient for good results.
Hey, nice camera bag!
The "unicorn" angle is pretty dope! I saw on their website that they have a Leica lens that's amazing.
Thanks for this great video!!! I so need to get one now 🚴♀️💨
Super cool review!
Awesomeness! Great video! As always, thank you for sharing your ideas and insights...
thanks andre
Super dope, can you tell me which mount you used specifically to strap to the backpack for 3rd?
What pants do you ride with? I want something casual but is durable enough to withstand commuting etc. I’m sick and tired of having to tuck my pants into my socks to avoid getting oil around the ankles. Great video btw! 👍🏻
just get a cheap pair of leg warmers, these are usually thin enough that you don’t overheat, but also just right for street riding protection
and clean your chain
Rapha Technical Trousers
@@1984-i1w yeh i do clean my chain mate. that doesn’t really do a lot unless you have a totally brand new chain.
@@khangngo5684 yeh see that’s a good suggestion, but i want something casual that i can use if i’m just commuting to meet up with friends etc. I know it’s not paris fashion week if i’m showing up, but leg warmers are not casual haha.
I hope Terry rolls by mirrored ground floor windows so we see the whole cycling vlogger lookbook view.
That would be cool!
Where is this awesome orange jacket from?🍀
i like all of that, the hotline is what I Think i am going to do
Hey man, love the video. Wondering what kind of glasses you are wearing, those clear ones, are sick!
The helmet shot is awesome!
What is the helmet mount that you used here? Do you have a link?

Seems versatile. What kind of overlays can you get on the vid
Can you go more in depth with the back pack bar??
This is amazing!!!! Thank you for your video!
Simply amazing!
I would love some information on how you store and organize all of your footage.
back pack 🔥🔥🥵
Great video
Dude, do tell your mom, wife, and kids every time you go for a bike ride.
Take my money please! Great video. I think my birthday is coming about 8 months early.

that video game mode was pretty nice! what glasses are you wearing? thanks for the great filming Andre and Terry these are always great!
video game mode looks awesome
pretty sick
That bike 🤤
What glasses are these?
I had hoped the audio would have been better. Unicorn view is cool.
stem mounted is cool. video game is cool. also really liked the tall drone view too. chesty seemed less smooth than gopro.
oh and muchos thanks Andre

3rd person view cool as hell
As a fellow cyclist, you make us look bad.
What kind of gloves are those? Really like the Chrome gloves but those look really dope! And as always, awesome content 👌
Wow !!! Love it :)
Do you use this camera now or you still use GoPro?
Thank you Andre (:
can you live stream off the camera? does it have a HDMI out for use with an encoder/belabox?
Not sure. It does have a WebCam mode that works automatically when plugged in through usb c

@@PeloTom_ Hey PeloTom :-) Okay, let's see, maybe Insta360 delivers.
No discount code on the ol' camera eh? :)
let me see if I can get one

Just found your channel a few days ago. Really liking it. 😊👍

I’m sold..
Stabilization can't beat gopro still, but I think it's good that they have competition
😄😄😄 the helmet, best joke ever
4K Lens looks somehow jittery, like there are frames missing
Agree, video is jittery in general, looks like frame skipping, not sure if this happened while recording or maybe during the TH-cam video rendering process.
I think I found my next camera
sik review video!
You guys have a death wish riding through traffic like that... I lost what you were saying watching you hold on to vehicles and squeezing between them... RIP...
3-d person camera is the best, IMHO
very cool, thanks! Time to go ride my bike and stop watching videos though!
I'd like to hear what a wind-proof microphone sounds like
Gang
gang
First
Literally the first, well done brother.
No thanks for the ride through NYC...
Video of how you can get killed on a bike.
you should respect traffic, you are driving dangerously for nothing…..broken collarbone happens fast ….
