The one that always stood out was a bicycle. Western Flyer it was blue plus I got a bear one year and I believe I still have it. I miss the stockings filled with nuts apple and oranges. Christmas ribbon candy.
Yes! I miss stockings filled like that also. I think my cabbage patch kid is still at my moms house.

My most memorable Christmas gift was a raggedy Ann doll, yes that really dates me 😂.
My sister who was 14 months older than me got raggedy Andy! We dragged them around everywhere. My sister passed a couple of years ago and I now have the pair. ❤

My kids are in college. I find this age the easiest since there is no hiding. I buy and wrap and put under the tree. And they tell me what they want. No guessing or changing minds with new tv commercials. No waiting until they are asleep to put stuff under the tree. Much less stress for me
Very true, I don't miss the hiding part. The only thing now is the things they want can be so expensive.
