Rillito Bend neighborhood (Tucson Blvd/Prince Rd/Rillito River/Country Club Rd) just north of Winterhaven is a hidden gem of small horse properties, Rio Vista desert natural park, the Historic Valley of the Moon children's fantasy site, and mid density townhomes and single homes. Great walking area, low traffic, walking access to the River Walk, Campbell Ave shopping, St Phillips and the Tucson Raquet Club. While it's absolutely accessible to all the amenities of central it feels like you're in the desert. About three miles to the University and Tucson Mall.
My Dad was stationed at DM from 1959 to 1972, we lived on the then east side from Swan Road and Kolb Road. I went to Tucson District 1 schools up to high school. The city was really growing at the time, the newest school was Santa Rita High School on Pantano Road. I was from age 2 to 15 while living there, then after my Air Force enlistment I went back to Tucson. My Mom is buried there at her request!! I now live in Phoenix because in 1988 there not lots of jobs then! My ashes will be buried there!!

Hello, and welcome to Tucson, Arizona! This channel has a lot of videos out about things to do and see here in Tucson, including restaurant videos. However, if you are only in town for a couple of days, I recommend checking out the desert museum, Sabino Canyon, Mount Lemmon, And maybe even the botanical gardens. If you have time, I also recommend the steward, Observatory, Pima Air and Space Museum, the Reid Park zoo, The biosphere 2, colossal cave, and the Titan missile museum. All very cool places with very unique history. Thanks for checking out the channel!
Feel free to contact me and I will give you more information. All my contact information is in the description below each video on the channel. Thank you!
Some areas hardly any, other places you can see individual or small group encampments. Encampments can get quite large in some areas; usually the more depressed an area is the more homeless you will find. Certain parks there can be quite a few, others none at all.

It’s not good, and it’s getting worse and worse every year.
