Another twenty like that...and then we can party!'" Now imagine similar things being said for the bluestones...smaller, but from much further away.
Dr. Snow speaks of the builders of Stone Henge as being ancestors and that got me wondering, do we have DNA from any of these neolithic people and would we be able to find out if those genetic markers still exist in the modern population? Obviously Britain has seen many waves of migration since the building of Stone Henge, so it would be interesting to see if the builders of Stone Henge really could be considered ancestors in a strictly biological sense.
I've been there. We walked the long way there and it was sn amazing experience.

We visited Stonehenge during the winter solstice. We were able to walk between the stones with some Druids.
