Hi, just what I was looking for. Your RVE has a single edge for left, right, bottom and top each but my RVE (a brick and mortar model) has split edges for the left and right side, i.e., 6 small fragments constitute the left and right edge each. How do I modify lines 40 and 41 in your code so it works for me? As the top and bottom edge is a single edge for me, i tried using ur code for it. ABAQUS generated the sets containing individual nodes but they are of type 'Node+Element' and I cannot use them in the constraint dialog box. Later I tried keeping Left Edge = e.findAt(*All the edge fragmenst*) and then EdLe = e[q3:q3+1] but when I run the script it shows typeError: unsupported operand type(s) for +: 'AbaqusMethod' and 'int' Thanks in advance!!
