I was a chronic migraine sufferer for about 30 years until a couple of years ago when I got my Atlas vertebra xrayed and adjusted. It was the single most effective thing I've ever done for my health. My migraines almost always included neck and shoulder pain which was debilitating. Please, please, consider having your neck examined and adjusted by an Atlas chiropractor (which is extremely safe and uses no twisting or cracking!)
Thank you for sharing! I have Ehlers Danlos hypermobile type and also Chronic Cluster headache. I find relief in the max dose of Emgality, and am grateful it's covered by insurance and care cards. However, it's exciting to see the occipital block as a possible treatment - I'm having a C4/C5 fusion soon and have that cervical instability and wonder if that involvement of the instability at cervical cranial area affects the Cluster.
I have heds to I've had upper cervical work but didn't help.my pain my migraine.is in shoulder s neck area daily no headache nowadays I now no.heds is connected not.autism which ime.now.diagnosed I had cluster headaches decades ago and pots my upper cervical said not to operate unless compress nerves
Is it a type of Aura when one is mixing up syllables and has big changes in hearing in one ear before the actual migraine pain? Thing is, I don't have classic visual auras, but often before a migraine attack I have all kinds of others weird changes of my senses and slurred, mixed-up speech, extreme confusion. I heard some say this is a type of aura too but some say it's not.
Aura's can be very different from person to person, but can affect a wide variety of senses and cause many different symptoms. Be sure to have symptoms evaluated by your healthcare provider. Here is a resource to some further reading on auras: my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/22131-migraine-aura. We also have an episode on silent migraine, which is where a person has all the symptoms of a migraine aura without head pain: th-cam.com/video/5_XELZanR6o/w-d-xo.html
