It’s standard 1gal=1fish (ofc it depends on the size of the fish). I would have neon tetras they like to be in groups so get more than one, I recommend swordfish, guppies, mollys, Cory catfish (i think that’s the name) which are all community fish. Your students might have fun with a Kihli loch (like a little eel) which mostly hide in the substrate or rocks in the tank. Please make sure you have a heater, proper water conditions, I don’t recommend fake plants. Live plants are really beneficial but make sure you have to have a fish tank light which gives them light to grow.
Great video! I’ve had a fish tank for years in my classroom. Heads up, your first few fish will most likely die. Don’t lose hope! Also don’t let the kids name them for a couple of weeks. I don’t put fish in the tank right away. The kids have to pass a fish test with 80% accuracy. Stuff like fingers in the water, no tapping on the glass or water temperature is on the fishy test.
My second grade teacher had guppies in a tank. At the end of the year, she would give some away to any student that wanted some and brought in a container to take them home.
A betta fish will be nice or a couple neon tetra. Also i am so jealous in my district students come back on the 21,they just changed my classroom so nothing is done
I would talk to the person at the store. Some fish need to be separated from their young after they have babies (so that they don't eat them) and that is a hassle. Also, I think that beta fish need to be separated from other beta fish (not entirely sure).

Do you have a template in your TPT store for your labels? I like to make my own but always struggle with the font size.

Laminate before you cut and you save a step.
Do you have a link for the two set of drawer units that you labeled - the ones for the Chromebooks and the ones for their supplies?
The school ordered them but they were from Walmart like 4 years ago!!
Do you teach in a private school? Your room is massive! I'm insanely jealous
I don’t! Public school. I think the tables help make it feel and look bigger than it is!

Yes, I think that’s what I’ll do! Too much information for me to research on my own, talking to them is gonna be the way to go!
What do you do for student who need to sit right next to you for extra attention?
We have a few individual desks in storage I can grab if needed… and I did need to do that last year!
@@_ThirdGradeSwag where do you put those desk in your classroom if they are needed ? Like where did you put them last year?
