I will never forget the first time I heard this. I was blown away by his gritty gravely voice coming from that young kid. The video is worth watching. His style is often referred to as swamp style. He’s from New Orleans and his dad is a famous musician that collabs with him often. Marc’s remakes of old classics like Cry to Me are excellent!

In this time of auto tune and total studio sound, Marc Broussard sounds exactly like this in person! Wonderful performer with such a fabulous voice!! He is the real deal.

Hahaha I know I'm late to the party on this react but being a Louisiana girl I love it when I see ppl react to Marc. Hes a Louisiana boy, born down south in Carencro...was raised around gospel, blues, jazz and r&b. The man can singgggggg. That bridge he was talking about was probably the Pontchartrain Causeway...its 24 miles long....lol. great reaction. His version of Cry to Me is fantastic so is one of his song Lonely night in Georgia

One of the things that I really appreciate about you two is that you really listen to the song. Too many reactors stop the song every 30 seconds, to me they're not into the music, just the sound of their own voices, you seem to really care about the music which is why you get my subscription.

Being from Lake Charles, LA, I always had Marc’s daddy’s cajun music playing in the house on Sundays.
This is the only song that after hearing it one time; despite never hearing of the artist before, I immediately went out to but the album. This is something so unlike anything else I've heard before or since.

That was an amazing reaction I have some Marc broussard's on my playlist and I only recently discovered this song which is old but his last one I found was I've got to use my imagination and the legendary guitarist Joe Bonamassa is playing with him❤❤❤
