I've tried this and you can use L120 printer . just make sure the paper is properly printable on the machine. No need to put other materials like using bondpaper and tapes. Just put and print . By the way i am using pigment ink.
ink finite I’ve been using the same printer as well. But there are a lot of times where the ink would smear mostly in portions of the folds for the expansion. Have you experienced that too?

This printer is very good its can print 280 gsm thickness
But it smudges how does one prevent the smudging on the paper bag. How do you set the thickness to accommodate a4 paper bags
