Cracking ride out Paul. Love the road from four crosses over to Bala. Was shouting at screen for you to go left to Vyrnwy after the view point. Proper enjoyed it all. As far as Wales is concerned I think you know my opinion. Will send over some pics along those roads on various bikes. Also a little mod I've carried out on my steed you may like. Cheers.
I agree with your views on politics! I’ve had my eye on a Himalayan 411 for quite some time now, but haven’t had the money to spare and now the silly buggers have stopped making them. I’ll be able to get one next year and hopefully there will still be some left! I’ve not had a bike since the 80’s and to be honest I’ve not liked the looks of the modern bikes - they’re all plastic and fairings now, but since I saw the Himalayan it’s the first one I’ve felt something for. It’s got something about it. It reminds me of my first bike, which was a 1978 Yamaha XT500 which I bought new back in the day. It was a beautiful bike and if they still made them, I’d buy it like a shot. Although the Himalayan isn’t as powerful, it definitely has the looks and character, plus the long distance ability. I saw one in the flesh the other week and it looked beautiful. It’s a bike that has soul. Anyway, enough dribbling from me, thanks for the video of your trip. I’ve subscribed. Partly because I love the bike and partly because I agree with what you said about politics.
Lovely ride that, and a great bit of road over the top down to Vyrnwy and over the dam. I was laying odds you'd end up in a farmyard. Dont worry to much about the felling, thats Forestry Commision conifers, theyre all planted, they only take 40 years to get that big then the next lot go in, its a working landscape. Enjoyed that video, and the Himalyan looked just the job for it.
What you need is Gloves with Key Pockets on them so you dont have to take your gloves off to store your keys. Nice ride out. The only way to spend your day off. Cheers.
Howdo , bought myself a new old 411 2 weeks ago and love it , just wondering if you have noticed the himmy is better after first 300 mile service , my engine still feels a bit tight
@birchwoodbiker if you want the very best lake try Llyn brianne 20 fantastic Miles including the devil's staircase..... best saved for good weather and in my case I fly my drone....Great day out....

I thought this was going to be a silent video. I turned it off as soon as you started talking. Reported for clickbait false title.
You should of turned your earing aid up, sorry meant Sound 🤣🤣🤣
Not misleading, just read wrong. He said he didn't need to talk, not that he wouldn't.😂
