For someone like myself who has never been on a skateboard and doesn't watch anything related to it, it was kinda boring. That sounds stupid to anyone who knows Skateboarding but in the end I'm subscribed to this channel for a lot of other Red Bull related content.

@ Redbull you should leave the course there for an extra week and throw a Bmx contest on the same course the following weekend, It looks so amazing for bikes so much crazy stuff would go down.

seriously why do people hate nyjah??? He is one of the most consistent skateboarders out there. This course looked soo gnarly and technical with all of the sharp turns and bumps you have to fly over. The man is shreddin and laying down super hard tricks, haters need to chill.
damn sick line that bs flip to fakie flip with the pivot was steezy as fuck. Even kickflipping that hip before the big rail and 3 flipping into the last stair set area...just proves how much easier incorporating tricks into his line is over the other skaters who were struggling to piece together "things that would get them points" all while surviving till the last set...nyjah just looks like hes out there havin a session to me thats why he always wins as a skaters skater....he goes out there and makes a demo of it...thats what will always win

I've got an idea for a scoring system;
It's dynamic, so over time as the skaters skate each section of the course their scores are averaged out and as the average for each section changes, it becomes a baseline for point bonuses or deductions. Any score in that particular section, above the 'section average' will get the difference as a bonus and scores below it get a deduction. The bonuses and deductions will not count towards each 'section average'.
This way, based on each section, the scores will dynamically reflect how consistently each skater is performing on it.

The consistency and board control is likely what they're referring to. The average pro skater is not going to put down 3 runs of that caliber.
It’s true, but that’s why guys like Shane and Yuto have a hard time beating Nyjah, Shane is arguably so much more technical than Nyjah, but he’s less consistent, where Yuto is doing some hard nollie stuff but the board never really leaves his feet, Nyjah always flips the board a lot, puts more tricks in his run and hits more obstacles, and is consistent

This course sucked compared to years past. I dont know how this whole street league aesthetic is taking over. If skating goes in this direction we will never have another cardiel. not everything can be like a skate video lol, some of the tricks pulled off in videos take dozens possibly hundreds of tries over the course of weeks, you shouldnt expect anything nuts in 3 minutes of skateboarding on a course relatively unfamiliar to them haha, think.

gypshyn That's a very valid point. However, I find it unlikely to label top quality skateboarding as "boring" unless you don't actually know what you're talking about.
