It seems to me that the English muffin just works best as the bread of choice for a breakfast sandwich. The texture to me is just perfect for that.
The BEC Bagel was my go-to growing up, I never tried the steak, but the Breakfast sauce is the main reason I like it so much - ALWAYS ask for extra lol

My go-to breakfast sandwich at McD’s is the sausage egg & cheese McMuffin as well, but man with the prices these days, I prefer to buy some groceries and do it myself if I have the time

Great Review! I'll stick with my favorite Egg McMuffin but it ain't cheap no more either. I prefer the muffin instead of a bagel for a breakfast sandwich. But it looks good though . Savory is good. I wonder if you could swap the bagel for a muffin and how would it taste. 8.1 is a good rating to have from you i might give it a try you liked it and that's good enough for me to try it. Take care.
You could probably just just the egg McMuffin and pay extra to get the steak added. That would probably be really good too.

Yeah, I can see where it could be compared to meatloaf. I would say, though it taste more like a Salisbury steak then it does meatloaf though.

It’s supposed to have butter 😂
It might have had butter on it. It either mixed into the sauce that was already on it, which might’ve been Mayo or it just soaked into the croissant.
