*One of the funniest times Pete broke character was when he was Count Chocula. He insists that he’s not black, just chocolate but Dave Chappelle as the AllState actor breaks character and starts talking about Pete’s chocolaty lips. Pete’s fangs began to fall out because he’s laughing!* 🤣

He's not even in the top 3 youngest which are 3)Robert Downey, Jr., 2)Eddie Murphy and youngest or all 1)Anthony Michael Hall.
Hard to bring him up compared to the greats above who clearly had better things to do then be on SNL for creative restrictions and relatively low pay thus you didn't mention even the 10 youngest list who also includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sarah Kate Silverman, Jay Pharoah who are wonderful character actors. Also of which would diminish any hype of being part of that list. Better off highlighting his successful solo movie career from departing SNL which seems to be decent ventures.

Pete was 20 when he started SNL and so was Robert Downey Junior. Pete isn't on SNL anymore. He didn't break character more than anyone else the last few years he was on SNL.

How he got a job on SNL has got me stuffed
It's not that confusing. Pete was hired on for jokes originally. He auditioned with a standup act. He had barely any acting experience when he started. Pete wasn't originally meant to be in sketches. Bill Hader recommended him to Lorne Michaels after meeting him on the set of Trainwreck.

@@richardbehan8118 Joe Piscopo? There are many people that disappeared who people can't even remember. Pete was ok with the Weekend Updates. He served his purpose as a younger voice. Later he consistently put out decent musical sketches. Some like Squid Game and Stu went viral. He became better at sketches the last few years also. Did some impressions like Ego from Ratatouille, Little Nicky, the Grinch, and governor Cuomo like in the Brittany Show sketch.

The last few years he was on SNL he wasn't breaking character more than anyone else.
He has played lead characters in movies and performed well. Also, been part of an ensamble cast like in B,B,B. His acting so far is in the average range. It is better than average when it comes to showing real emotion. He is able to tear up, start sweating profusely, or go red with anger by making himself upset because a scene calls for it. Old sketches on SNL of him breaking character is not what I am going to judge him by. He had little acting experience when he started and was hired originally just to help with jokes.

Pete is doing fine acting in movies now. Even in leading roles. I don't know why they are showing sketches of him giggling from like 6 or 7 years ago. The last few years he was on SNL he didn't break character more than anyone else. It's like they are trying to make him look bad while pretending to be friendly towards him. He originally was hired on to help with joke writing and had little acting experience when he started.

The best thing to ever happen to Pete Davidson is his dad beings fireman dying on 9/11. Without that happening he would be unknown. The guy used his dad's death to his best advantage.
He might not be famous. It was a combination of the sad backstory and the novelty of his young age when he first started doing standup that helped him get noticed. Also, his unique appearance made him stand out. It is still wrong to say that was the best thing that happened to him. He probably wouldn't have Borderline Personality Disorder now if he had an easier childhood. He found out that they found his father's remains after turning on the TV after his mom told him not to.

It begins with a C and ends with a C. Both parents were raised as that. His mom is mostly of Irish ancestry. She is a school nurse. Not privileged. She raised him and his sister after dad passed working multiple jobs.
