Ive got a 91 851. First of the upside fork model. Hopeless at lower speeds and doesn't like to be upset mid higher speed corner... In short its a crap road bike. Its really only any good on a track and then it suffers from a lack of HP on the straights.

Looks like you know what you are doing.. got an 851 myself... it is a very forgiving bike..
