The Casio Duro was my gateway into the watch collecting hobby. I own very expensive watches now but I still have several Casios’s that I wear for active sports including water activities. This is an awesome brand of watches.
Thanks for the review. What a great beater! The nice thing about the acrylic crystal is that although it will scratch, it’s easy to make it look like new with a little polywatch. The acrylic crystal is actually a plus in my book! This is the poor man’s perfect alternative to the Rolex Submariner. GOD TIER!

Great little watch! I picked on up at a clearance sale at Walmart for $8! Watch is a little light on the wrist, rattles, and the band is kinda cheap but for the price it’s fun to wear!
There is also an LRW (ladies) version of this series, which is much smaller. My 6 year old wears it with pride. He has a black one with a black rubber band.
I had 3 of these, on was a steel bracelet with white dial, and 2 were resin! they are monsters of a beater watch! but all my 3 watches had horrific chaptering! I mean it hit more the middle of the seconds than the seconds itself! I have a bit of ocd and it bothered me a LOT! but if it doesn't bother u nothing can compare to these watches
the weird thing about Casio lume imho not very bright but it does last very long, I do have the AQ S800W and once loaded I can read it without problems for about 5 or 6 hours
Hitting the marks withe the second hand is just random luck, my Casio duro was completely off it did not hit a single mark never seen a watch so bad in that department. So I guess is just luck
Just a wonderful looking watch for the money. Great on weekends. Comfortable bracelet too. The second hands are spot on, on mine. I guess it is luck of the draw. 😬

Accurate , legible , durable ; and inexpensive.If you want a watch as a pure "tool" the budget Casio's are the best !

Cheapest I can find this now is damn near $40 nice watch, but not worth that price imo

This watch is for people who don't need any kind of status symbol. Even a guy like Steve Jobs could have worn this great watch.

Was set to get, but at 44.6 a shame it's too big for my wrist.
