This should be the template used by anyone making a guide! Its absolutely phenomenal. Almost ever other guide I have ever watched I find myself constantly rewinding because they are going a million miles an hour and then go of on some other tangent that has nothing to do with what they were just talking about. It also is very clear it is for new players. Walking through each spell and explaining it is super helpful. A lot of these super high rated pvpers don't understand that a lot of people watching these guides are new to the class, spec, or game and have no idea what any of there buttons mean or do. I've seen guides from rank one blizzcon champs that explain things like there talking to a 2.5k player and not a complete noob. I've watched a lot of guides for wow pvp for multiple classes and specs and I can say without a doubt this is the best guide I have ever seem. Bravo!

I haven’t played for 11 years now. I used to be a rank 1 warrior. I am 42 years old. I tried to start the game again. I enjoyed arms warrior and resto Druid gameplay always. I need to say that this is the best guide I found by far, for me to be able to start enjoying the game again. All other videos I found were people reading tooltips and behaving like everyone knows about everything. You explain things in a way that’s understandable for new players. Thank you ! The key to this video, is watching it multiple times, because there are somethings I forgot like the Wild Charge and how some abilities work together, it's a great way to make sure you are on the right track.
Used to play resto drood way back in the day and had some pretty good accomplishments. Always thought I should switch it up each expansion. Coming back to my roots, looked for some guidance. 39:00 A lifebloom does not bloom when its purged or expires. It also blooms if refreshed < 5 sec before it expires. It 's number 1 thing to know, enabling stacking the new +3*8% talent and not dropping the ramped up +50% on lifebloom in the first place.

Nice guide. Definitely policed up some tips. Another reason you want lifebloom on a target asap is because it ramps up to increase it's healing the longer it's on a target. Also, if you refresh the lifebloom on a target within the pandemic window, which is somewhere around 4-5 seconds I believe, it blooms which means you don't need to (and shouldn't) let it fall off to bloom.

I played RDruid back in Cata and tried to pick it up now in DF, but it feels so different and I felt something was really off... well, I didn't understand 90+% of it's intricacies which I honestly think I wouldn't find out on my own! Im having a discussion with myself weather to try with Disc or Rdruid in arena and solo shuffle .. This give me SO much info on Rdruid - im sure, im not the only one that appreciates the energy you put into this guide. Great job mate!
just coming back to the game this was extremely helpful. Been playing solo shuffles for 2 weeks and had no idea I could life bloom a target 3 times for extra healing. Literally made it to 1600 rating without knowing that 😂😂also has no idea I could rejuvenate the same target twice 😢. This is what happens when you don’t spend more than a month on the game in any expansion since wotlk.
You give a lot of good information. I hope my comment is not received as an attack, but tree of life is useless in pvp. 90% of the time if you go tree you will be cc’d for the entire duration via paladin.

10.0.7 is a buff to rdruid with the talent moves, well be able to play invigorate, nourish, and tree but we lose germination (2 rejuv) but itll help with burst healing having more cooldown's i think - that’s rennars thoughts
This was so incredibly helpful, I’m hard stuck in the 1500s and I really want to try to get 1800 this season. Quick question - when would you start in stealth in solo shuffle and go for a pounce/cyclone, or start in stealth and get an early start on hots, or come out casting full hots out of stealth? It’s good to throw a lifebloom/rejuvenate tha stealth - You can rake clone vs some comps (not dragon because they have cc protection w/ shroud) - found in soloshuffle though that it was more of a feel because i swear anytime i cced the healer, the healer just trinkets and ccs me and my team doesn’t use defensives, so i found more success just straight up out healing the other healer, but rake clone scomboworks well near a pillar where it can’t be stopped , like if you go for rake stun then a clone, but the ele shaman kicks your clone now your in a bad spot, so it’s just situational

Just a minor note, I think the hot duration extension provided by swiftmend and the verdant infusion talent is nerfed in PvP combat and you cannot (reliably) double extend the cenward anymore. I think the extension is 8 sec instead of 12 (pvp multiplier 0.6666 * 12).

You’re trying to crank mastery while maintaining the haste % so it feels more smooth, since you want 4 set the stats become a little different but yeah ideal the same for RBG, also remember that the arena build works best for the flag maps, and the rbg aoe heal works well for most team fights however , sometimes depending on comps you can just always run the arena build , the aoe works best when your team fighting and your teams working together
Hey man! Amazing guide, one question tough. In the macro section it shows so clear your current hots on the targets on their nameplate. How did you do that?
I really like the video, but I honestly think you fail to address one very important issue. I have no problem healing the team in Arena and Shuffle, but if I am focused by a DPS I die like instantly. Of course I turn to bear, but most well equipped DPS can more than out damage the healing from Frenzied Regeneration. Especially warriors and rouges kills me in less than a few seconds. with their stun or silence abilities, sometimes I don't even live to push the bear button before I am dead. I have followed the rotation in your video, and healings are very god, but like I wrote, I have like zero survivability when I am focused myself by a dps. Your guide would be so much better, if you showed what to do in an actual arena game, when you are attacked by a good dps.
You have tranquility, makes you immune to damage , you need help from teammates , remember overgrowth , then bear form regen will heal you to full! I see your point though, swaps on r druid are hard, your teammates pealing ad your own pre positioning is important . you can also save a treatment charge for yourself
yesterday after i watched your tutorial, i first practiced the healing rotation in some BG before i tried shuffle. I lost all 18 games in 3 rounds of shuffle. In every game the same thing happened. I was either charged by a warrior who stunned me. I cant change form when I´m stunned, or, if i managed to change to bear, he either outdamaged regen frenzy, or once it was over he killed me. Against a rogue, I never got of sap or stuns to even have time to change to bear. Today I think i have play 8-9 rounds of shuffle, and combined i have maybe won 10 games in all. Once I have used the trinket, it´s usually game over from next stun or silence or blind or whatever that causes me to lose control. I have never experienced my other healer classes, paladin or monk or shammy to die so fast. It´s extremely frustrating as I have no idea what to do.@@TorpidFam

What time in the video? He may have overgrowthed to get all of his hots , or rennar has a good team and he doesn’t always need hots up because his team trades well so sometimes he doesn’t hit all 3 to save maw
Torbid, this might be stupid question but my Blizzard Default Frames don't look like yours. Mine are all green and I can't seem to find where that can be changed in class colors. Can u help me out? Plus my frames seem to jump whenever im going in and out of the arena too..
Hey! Yeah you change the class colours in the options settings un game ! I also added power bars there, and then w/ editor mode you can make the frames larger but i don’t like them max width and height

Dude! I have watched all kinds of vids, but this is by far the best and most detailed guide. I have a feral, but I always wanted to play resto mainly because my bud plays with a warrior. We tried resto-arms, but huge fail... Believe it or not, after your vid we gathered our courage and pressed q again. And finally, dubs are coming! :) A lot to learn and practice, but yeah. I finally see connections between talent choices and everything makes more sense. Thank you again for the hard work! For a casual player, vids like this are huge! Maybe 2 questions: are you planning on making arms warrior or sub rogue guide? Can you give us the name of the addon (maybe linking import string) which makes icon to appear above the target dummy (for example when cyclone appears above that beetle)? 👍💪👋

This is a Fantastic Guide! Going through the mechanics of the spells, the play style and situational responses is above and beyond what the other guides I've seen are doing. Well Done! I am a returning player and trying to figure things out again and this has been very helpful. I have a question on the Harmonious Blooming and triple stack of Life Bloom. My Lifebloom doesn't stack. I'm not sure how it could since you want to refresh it with 4.5 seconds left to get the bloom. I remember something about stacking Lifebloom in the past though. Is this part of a tier set, or another talent that I am somehow missing or has it changed since this was posted. You clearly press Lifebloom three times and the icon shows the count but I can't seem to replicate that. Thanks again for putting this together.
Lifebloom doesn’t stack but the PVP talent gives you focused bloom that stacks ! You’ll see it called focused growth (there was a resto drood update today tho, so i’ll need to confirm)
Hi, fantastic guide, there so much to learn its a bit overwhelming for me atliest, what healer do you reccomend in 3v3 / SS? The keeping track of HoTs and the multiple forms with the pre emtive healing is too much for me D:
Resto Druid is tough for solo shuffle, tracking hots is no joke. I would say that disc priest played properly owns and you get to do a lot of damage, SS sort of rough on healer so focus on what you enjoy ! Maybe hpal as well!
@@TorpidFam Usually just spamming lifebloom isn’t enough when the other partner is something like a Assa rogue or DH :/ but I shall try and focus more on it , thanks
@@Limon517 Well for sure when you’re cced you’ll need to trade appropriate cds. You can use overgrowth to put all of your hots on immediately , one you get a lifebloom start getting rejuvs, try and send tree form , iron bark , overgrowth all spaced out, and your dps to not overlap defensives wth yours to last longer, You can also harass the shaman more, with clones so he’s not able to just spam purge

Nice guide. Definitely policed up some tips. Another reason you want lifebloom on a target asap is because it ramps up to increase it's healing the longer it's on a target. Also, if you refresh the lifebloom on a target within the pandemic window, which is somewhere around 4-5 seconds I believe, it blooms which means you don't need to (and shouldn't) let it fall off to bloom.

just coming back to the game this was extremely helpful. Been playing solo shuffles for 2 weeks and had no idea I could life bloom a target 3 times for extra healing. Literally made it to 1600 rating without knowing that 😂😂also has no idea I could rejuvenate the same target twice 😢. This is what happens when you don’t spend more than a month on the game in any expansion since wotlk.

You give a lot of good information. I hope my comment is not received as an attack, but tree of life is useless in pvp. 90% of the time if you go tree you will be cc’d for the entire duration via paladin.

10.0.7 is a buff to rdruid with the talent moves, well be able to play invigorate, nourish, and tree but we lose germination (2 rejuv) but itll help with burst healing having more cooldown's i think - that’s rennars thoughts

This was so incredibly helpful, I’m hard stuck in the 1500s and I really want to try to get 1800 this season. Quick question - when would you start in stealth in solo shuffle and go for a pounce/cyclone, or start in stealth and get an early start on hots, or come out casting full hots out of stealth? Thank you!!
It’s good to throw a lifebloom/rejuvenate tha stealth - You can rake clone vs some comps (not dragon because they have cc protection w/ shroud) - found in soloshuffle though that it was more of a feel because i swear anytime i cced the healer, the healer just trinkets and ccs me and my team doesn’t use defensives, so i found more success just straight up out healing the other healer, but rake clone scomboworks well near a pillar where it can’t be stopped , like if you go for rake stun then a clone, but the ele shaman kicks your clone now your in a bad spot, so it’s just situational

Just a minor note, I think the hot duration extension provided by swiftmend and the verdant infusion talent is nerfed in PvP combat and you cannot (reliably) double extend the cenward anymore. I think the extension is 8 sec instead of 12 (pvp multiplier 0.6666 * 12).

You’re trying to crank mastery while maintaining the haste % so it feels more smooth, since you want 4 set the stats become a little different but yeah ideal the same for RBG, also remember that the arena build works best for the flag maps, and the rbg aoe heal works well for most team fights however , sometimes depending on comps you can just always run the arena build , the aoe works best when your team fighting and your teams working together

Hey man! Amazing guide, one question tough. In the macro section it shows so clear your current hots on the targets on their nameplate. How did you do that?
The addons should show every addon that i’m using ! And then you just adjust the ads on!

I really like the video, but I honestly think you fail to address one very important issue.
I have no problem healing the team in Arena and Shuffle, but if I am focused by a DPS I die like instantly.
Of course I turn to bear, but most well equipped DPS can more than out damage the healing from Frenzied Regeneration.
Especially warriors and rouges kills me in less than a few seconds. with their stun or silence abilities, sometimes I don't even live to push the bear button before I am dead.
I have followed the rotation in your video, and healings are very god, but like I wrote, I have like zero survivability when I am focused myself by a dps.
Your guide would be so much better, if you showed what to do in an actual arena game, when you are attacked by a good dps.
You have tranquility, makes you immune to damage , you need help from teammates , remember overgrowth , then bear form regen will heal you to full! I see your point though, swaps on r druid are hard, your teammates pealing ad your own pre positioning is important . you can also save a treatment charge for yourself

yesterday after i watched your tutorial, i first practiced the healing rotation in some BG before i tried shuffle. I lost all 18 games in 3 rounds of shuffle. In every game the same thing happened. I was either charged by a warrior who stunned me. I cant change form when I´m stunned, or, if i managed to change to bear, he either outdamaged regen frenzy, or once it was over he killed me. Against a rogue, I never got of sap or stuns to even have time to change to bear. Today I think i have play 8-9 rounds of shuffle, and combined i have maybe won 10 games in all. Once I have used the trinket, it´s usually game over from next stun or silence or blind or whatever that causes me to lose control. I have never experienced my other healer classes, paladin or monk or shammy to die so fast. It´s extremely frustrating as I have no idea what to do.@@TorpidFam

Thank you so much for this guide! It's one thing I maybe missed or didn't understand. You put the HoTs on the kill target in 3vs3 and lifebloom on yourself. What do you do with the other guy? :D
What time in the video? He may have overgrowthed to get all of his hots , or rennar has a good team and he doesn’t always need hots up because his team trades well so sometimes he doesn’t hit all 3 to save maw
If they make a strong GO on one target the other target is usually safe hence you Lifbloom yourself for 20% fasser hots on the GO target.
Torbid, this might be stupid question but my Blizzard Default Frames don't look like yours. Mine are all green and I can't seem to find where that can be changed in class colors. Can u help me out? Plus my frames seem to jump whenever im going in and out of the arena too..

Hey! Yeah you change the class colours in the options settings un game ! I also added power bars there, and then w/ editor mode you can make the frames larger but i don’t like them max width and height

Dude! I have watched all kinds of vids, but this is by far the best and most detailed guide. I have a feral, but I always wanted to play resto mainly because my bud plays with a warrior. We tried resto-arms, but huge fail... Believe it or not, after your vid we gathered our courage and pressed q again. And finally, dubs are coming! :) A lot to learn and practice, but yeah. I finally see connections between talent choices and everything makes more sense. Thank you again for the hard work! For a casual player, vids like this are huge! Maybe 2 questions: are you planning on making arms warrior or sub rogue guide? Can you give us the name of the addon (maybe linking import string) which makes icon to appear above the target dummy (for example when cyclone appears above that beetle)? 👍💪👋

This is a Fantastic Guide! Going through the mechanics of the spells, the play style and situational responses is above and beyond what the other guides I've seen are doing. Well Done! I am a returning player and trying to figure things out again and this has been very helpful. I have a question on the Harmonious Blooming and triple stack of Life Bloom. My Lifebloom doesn't stack. I'm not sure how it could since you want to refresh it with 4.5 seconds left to get the bloom. I remember something about stacking Lifebloom in the past though. Is this part of a tier set, or another talent that I am somehow missing or has it changed since this was posted. You clearly press Lifebloom three times and the icon shows the count but I can't seem to replicate that. Thanks again for putting this together.

Lifebloom doesn’t stack but the PVP talent gives you focused bloom that stacks ! You’ll see it called focused growth (there was a resto drood update today tho, so i’ll need to confirm)

Hi, fantastic guide, there so much to learn its a bit overwhelming for me atliest, what healer do you reccomend in 3v3 / SS? The keeping track of HoTs and the multiple forms with the pre emtive healing is too much for me D:
Resto Druid is tough for solo shuffle, tracking hots is no joke. I would say that disc priest played properly owns and you get to do a lot of damage, SS sort of rough on healer so focus on what you enjoy ! Maybe hpal as well!

Hey, what does a resto druid do vs spam purges from like shammy in 2s?
Spam lifebloom - when they dispel it heals a good amount so always needs to be the best hot you apply , also can ask rennar and see !
@@TorpidFam Usually just spamming lifebloom isn’t enough when the other partner is something like a Assa rogue or DH :/ but I shall try and focus more on it , thanks
@@Limon517 Well for sure when you’re cced you’ll need to trade appropriate cds. You can use overgrowth to put all of your hots on immediately , one you get a lifebloom start getting rejuvs, try and send tree form , iron bark , overgrowth all spaced out, and your dps to not overlap defensives wth yours to last longer, You can also harass the shaman more, with clones so he’s not able to just spam purge
