    Hello. I'm just about to buy the same exhaust. I expect it will be louder but how loud compared to your standard Harley Davidson? Is it about the same or even more loud? Trying to get a better idea of the sound level.

    Have you noticed any torque loss with the new exhaust?

    • @arkstriker3996
      @arkstriker3996  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I have found that the torque has increased as I can cruise smoothly in 6th gear at 60kmph when I couldn’t before.
      The throttle at low rpm is much less ‘jerky’ as well 😄

    Did u use those 2 copper rings?

    • @arkstriker3996
      @arkstriker3996  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, they’re crush gaskets, you’ll need to remove the old ones before you install the new ones 😁

    Does the exhaust come with the spacer? Or did you get it separately? What size is needed? So I can get it ahead of time.

    • @arkstriker3996
      @arkstriker3996  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah man; it comes with that silver spacer, there's no need to worry 🔥👌

    Looks great.. but you say its really loud is that also with a db killer?

    • @arkstriker3996
      @arkstriker3996  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it has the baffle in; I find it you're cruising around it's okay, but as soon as you start having a little fun above 6k rpm for 20 minutes you'll have a slight headache when you park up 😁

    Were you able to get a swingarm to fit?

    • @arkstriker3996
      @arkstriker3996  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      On the paddock stand? No; I just use a car jack on the metal bar that the exhaust bolts near to lift the rear wheel to service the chain.

    After the install was complete. Did your engine light turn on?

    • @arkstriker3996
      @arkstriker3996  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, check that your O2 sensor is plugged in and not broken; also, try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes then reconect it 🙌

    I am surprised you feel the need for ear plugs with the baffle in. I found the stock Delkevic exhaust excellent with the baffle in. It sounds like it wants to eat your children with the baffle out. But that isn't bad... if you want your motorcycle to each children....

    • @arkstriker3996
      @arkstriker3996  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahahaha, true that brother!
      I’ve found that the sound has gotten deeper and it crackles and pops more now that it’s worn in with some carbon buildup... it is quieter now, but anything more than a 45 minute ride and I’ll need the plugs in 😆

    • @crunks420
      @crunks420 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@arkstriker3996 It may not be much quieter. You may just have just damaged your hearing enough to be used to it. Now take the baffle out, go do some high RPM downshifts! 😈

      @@crunks420 bwhahahahhaa, so it’s a conditioning thing 🤣 I’ll have to take the baffle out and try it 🔥

    • @Blindside337
      @Blindside337 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely a conditioning thing, I have different 650s and compared to my f4i I had when I was younger it's the difference in tactical pistol drills indoors with 9mms vs a 7.62 out of an AK-47 lol. ..also conditioning, people can lose their wits the first time discharging a pistol in a home defense setting, wouldnt advise doing it without hearing protection multiple times but it could give them an edge after the initial experience lol
