I was informed by the AD, before it’s launch and expressed my interest, was initially told I’d get one but nothing! Now being told they’ve changed the qualifications to get one. Not amused or happy to be honest. So much for a good history! Congratulations to anyone who managed to get one before the madness 😊🙏🏼
@@TheDubaiExpat From here in Dubai. I have a history going way back but apparently many of my previous purchases had paper receipts which don’t show in the updated system. I was so looking forward to my 1st speedy, last I was told that was that you have to buy some other brand , of a certain amount, forget the one, to get considered. Seems like the hype ruined the chances of many serious watch lovers, and I don’t hold out much hope. Different world we’re living in now since Covid. Thank you for ur review, I’ve been following you’re Chanel for a while, alway great content and honest opinions. Thanks u!
Don’t forget that the dial is made off Silver. You should go an visit A. Lange boutique in Dubai mall. I was there 2 weeks ago they have the nicest watches there. I even saw the Saxonia Copper blue (not for sale). That dial is the nicest dial I ever seen. 👍👍
Picked mine up a few weeks ago. So much better looking in real life. The only downside is the strap is too small for me and omega want $500 for a longer one.
Nice review! Is it just me or it seems that when the center seconds is at 12 o’clock it’s not centered in the middle? It’s a bit to the left? Mostly noticed in the last couple of shots in the video 🤔
Rolex is nothing compare to this this Snoopy...this watch already gaining in value and experts saying it will be around 100.000$ worth in couple years.
Stop a random guy on street make him to choose between a Rolex and this snoopy and I'm damn sure he'll choose Rolex and most likely never heard about this s/itty omega

Not particularly legible in low light especially, when the hands cross over the subdials. There's just not enough contrast between hands and subdials. Bloody annoying to the point where I wanted to get rid of the watch! 🤬
My next watch won't be an Omega because of this collab. I'm happy for the people who couldn't afford the watch otherwise but this collab just shows me that the swatch group wants to make quick money and doesn't care about a good marketing / brand portfolio strategy. What's the point of a luxury watch brand design if you can buy it for 250€ ?
I agree. The Omega x swatch will not feel like a real Omega because of the light weight. It will feel plastic and cheap. It will still look fantastic depending on the "mission" chosen but it will not feel like a real Speedmaster and the owner will know. It won't sparkle, it won't feel heavy like a luxury watch. It will be and will feel like a 250 dollar watch. The real Speedmaster, by comparison, is superb quality in every regard. The new Moonswatch will serve to amplify what a beautiful watch the genuine Omega Speedmaster really is. I am on the waiting list for a 50th anniversary silver snoopy and this new plastic POS makes the real Speedmaster seem even better. Nobody knows or cares what watch you wear except for watch lovers. Almost nobody will know or care if it is a real Omega or not and even if you wore a real Speedmaster, nobody would notice or care anyway. The only person who will really know what it is and whether it is good or not is the owner. Anyone who has owned a real Omega will know this new Swatch is not a luxury product. On the positive side he light weight and quartz movement of the new Moonswatch would be great for the motorbike.

It’s just such a cool watch, because of Snoopy. Omega have nailed it with this special edition. Snoopy is just cool and retro end off!
This proves that Rolex along with increasing production with it's new facilities, the next target is to improve the box presentation. Great reviews!!!
