If even 1 child from a single parent family picks up her books & decides he/she will not contribute to a society of single parent families then the book has done good. She’s crunching numbers based on decades of social science from the left and right (and she does make a distinction between divorced parents and widows). 80% of inmates are from single parent (mostly single mothers) households, 70% of juvenile runaways and criminals are from single parent households. She’s not saying 100%. So, yes, you came from that 20-25% that didn’t grow up to be a criminal. Same with me, as I grew up in a single parent household.
@@sylarplissken I think we can both agree that my sensible analogy makes much more sense than your medical lunacy example. The point is that single parents are not a breeding ground for criminals and statistics aside she actually is blaming the single mother.
