In regards to the gold and silver packaging. The two shell designs that are remakes got the gold packaging (pink ice cream and blue bubbles) and the 4 new shell designs are silver.
Since my True Friends Connection pack came at the same time as my Demon & Angel Unis (Am also running a pink Uni) I started Unis first. Yesterday I started Connection. This video was extremely helpful for my day 2 of Connection. Thank you very much. Definitely not too long.
Thank you for this! Got my Connection for my birthday and love how cute it is. Dumb question: does the screen ever turn off? I've only ever had a Tamagotchi On and Uni, and I know they turn off to save battery. But this screen is a lot less taxing, so at the moment, I'm assuming it just stays on.

can you show how to go into the heat menu and select game and get them to play? I cannot find anywhere how to get it to work. I have a ball and fishing rod. I try with the ball and it tells me to push the button to fill up the bar but I can't seem to make it work.
Is there a difference in contrast between the two units? I've seen complaints that the screen contrast is very bad, but other people say that the contrast is perfect... It seems that there are variations between shells or individual units? I can't wait to get mine! But being from Europe we have to wait until September :(
@@joa6336 The contrast is good on both of my tamas. So it seems like it might be that indiviual tamas have contrast issues. Hoping yours will be great!
I think it depends on what you’d prefer to have in your tama. I only have the Uni, so I can only describe that one to you - It’s low maintenance so if you’re busy and it needs attention, you can quickly feed it and play a game or two and it’ll be happy for up to few hours - It uses wifi connection for downloading items and playing events etc, it’s consistently being updated by Bandai. You can also buy dlcs for it - There is a different character roster than on connection and it’s easier to get a good care character than a bad care one lol - You get to decorate your Tama’s room and garden and make the character wear clothes - The battery life is short so if you want to play with it a lot, be ready to charge it every few days

Umm there's an app that is by far more superior to this and there weren't ads on it the last i checked. It keeps track of all the digital pets and there's a community of them after one has played the game long enough. The sound is far more pleasing than the fingernails against a chalk board original and the visuals are better than poorly rendered Tiger handheld sprites. I'm surprised these things are even available

it does stay on all the time. only the color screen Tamas have a “sleep mode”

The contrast when I first used it with the demo battery sucked but after I replaced it with new batteries (I use Duracell) the contrast got darker!😊
