    Just walked in the door with one. Since I tried it a week ago, it was all I could think about. Tried a dozen others, including some high end Santa Cruz and vintage Martins. After I played the Boucher, I was hooked.

    They are insanely beautiful guitars, which sound mind blowing, off the chart, incredible. Just out visiting in Nova Scotia, and visited a home guitar store (G&G) middle of nowhere. He had the Boucher line up of guitars. Had the privilege to try them. Just simply wow ! A must have for my recording studio back in Ontario.

      Bought one from G & G too! He ships, if anyone is wanting one.

    My Boucher Studio Goose OM arrived this week. Mahogany sides and back red spruce top. It's the best sounding guitar that I have ever played and I have a 35 year old D28 and a hand made Matt Lunn. I finally found my guitar!!!!

    Agreed. I have a Boucher OM hybrid with flamed maple b&s and it is a stunning looker but what won me over is that special Boucher sound. Rich, deep, balanced and with stunning sustain. I played it for about 2 minutes at the store then promptly bought it Roth there and then.

    Good on you....I have a Boucher Dreadnought Mahogany goose that makes my hair stand on end! Nice to see an unbiased American for a change lol! :) They do ring on forever, and I find it very hard to put mine down once I start playing it, eh?! A friend of mine has a guitar shop up here in Hamilton Ontario and he had never heard of them until I showed him mine a few years ago ( even up here in Canada they seem to be more popular in Quebec than in Ontario, which I don't understand.....he played it for over an hour, and six months ago he dropped Taylor and added Boucher.) I'm from Saskatchewan but know that Quebec has a lot of great woodworkers......Godin guitars (also from la belle province ) are great as well, more known for their electric/acoustic hybrids

      Is it true that these guitars are unstable? Like in temperature changes or different humidity condiotions?

    Very nice sounding guitar. That Doobie Brothers Ol Black Water sounded pretty cool. I used to play that song a lot when I was a kid and recognized it right way.

    We love our guitars up here in Quebec, I own a few Godin axes...Boucher is a little too expensive for me

    Hi John, beautiful sounding guitar , what makes it a hybrid ?

      @ShorelineMusic  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your guess is as good as mine-that's just what Boucher calls it. Measurements are pretty traditional OM measurements, so it may be more of a statement of "smaller body, but still a big sound". Either that, or it runs on both battery and unleaded.

      Actually, as an owner of a Boucher OM i was curious too. So, I emailed Robin Boucher directly and apparently, in the past, Boucher had 000 models and OM models. But unlike Martin, their 000 models had a different body depth than their OMs...the OMs were deeper. The both the models are now discontinued and has been combined into the OMH. The upper bout has the depth of the 000 and the lower bout has the depth of an OM. In short its the best of both worlds and kind of like an exclusive formula of Boucher's take on the OM body shape. Sound amazing for sure though!

      I did a few chords from "Black Water" at the beginning, and then a few from Keaggy's "The Reunion" toward the middle.
