It is not a quicky way to multiply it is just doing basically the entire multiplication but by diving it.
But it's not applicable in 19×11

First, multiply 2 by 8,you get 16. Keep the 6,carry the 1. Next, multiply 1 and 2, the answer PLUS the 6,next,multiply 8 and 1. Add both numbers together, now, you have 216 as the answer.
I will tell u a more easy way u can solve in less then 10 sec, and this applibel to all 2 digit multiplication .
Ex (1) 38x32=?
First step :multiply 3x3 =9 (9+3) =12
Second step :multiply 8x2=16
Ans : 38x32=1216
Ex(2) 56x54=?
First step : multiply 5x5 =25 (25+5) =30
Second step : multiply 6x4 = 24
Ans : 56x54=3024

18 × 14 = (16 + 2) (16 - 2)
= 16² - 2²
= 256 - 4
= 252
This is simpler if you have the correct difference in numbers. And it has a clear formula for how this is obtained
It's not working try another example: 25×23.ok try

But the answer of 48×45 is 2160 but according to your trick it is not correct
Only works with the 2digit no. That have same digiti in the front and the sum of last two digits of the twn should be 10
8+5 is not ten. the digits and the ones place has to add up to 10.
This method works only if unit place sum is 10 and LHS same digits.

First you have to remember the conditions of 10 and same number at prefix. Then, you have to remember the succesor.
