Very late to the party but you just saved me from buying twice what I needed! My budget and I thank you! 🙌🏻
Thank you so much
Thank you for sharing Jessica!
I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE FOUGHT WITH SELLERS ABOUT NOT COUNTING THE SELVAGE!
I BOUGHT A HUGE AMOUNT OF FABRIC FROM A LADY AND DUE TO THE SELVAGE I LOST ALMOST A HALF YARD OF FABRIC. I WAS SO MAD!
UltimateUlrich yea walmart when you finally realize there not ther to cut and sell but just to get payed
Your rug matches my pillows exactly 😀
The funny thing is that I wanted to make sure I was cutting my fabric the right way and it's blue dragons. Lol. Thank you for this.
Very helpful thank you 🌺

So when they say x by x. They mean Length/Height (up and down) by width ( left to right)?
I am so confused on how to measure a piece of fabric say for a hand bag I just don’t know how to lay it on the mat and get it to measure what I want it’s always wrong can you please show me what I’m not understanding?
But if she doubled rhe fabric, then the yard becomes 2 yards??????
So if it's doubled up , is that 2 yards ?
This particular cut of fabric is a wider knit fabric, so the example piece is 1 yard. Its just wider than a typical quilters cotton.
@@TheCraftEGal Thank you !
But quilters cotton comes the same way. So still basically same question. Are we folding salvage to salvage and then measuring horizontally across 36in just as you did to equal on yard when cut and unfolded?
So confusing
Exactly!
So what is 58"/60?
So confusing, too much shaking 😵💫. Sit your camera somewhere
I made this video 7 years ago to help seamstresses, I did the best with the tech I had available at the time.
