I bought this bike recently. I must say this bike has been designed to drive effortlessly. Good bike.
I felt following about this bike:
1. Position of leg rest to feel like God.
2. I always feel like self start button is horn.
3. Love for color blue and black combination.

6 years on, I still get the same majestic feeling I got when I bought this as my first bike (with my own hard earned money) No complaints in stability, performance and milleage till now (50 kmpl +) my only 2 wishes is if it would have abs and kick start option

which will be better Avenger 150 or Pulsar 150.
+Quotivation if you loves funky bikes then go for Pulsar 150,&if you love to be leader of road like royal cruiser then you have to choose this avenger 150....
again if u r between 5'4" to 5'8" then this cruiser will give you best opportunity.In synopsis,avenger is made to give you more comfortable journey and royal look.thats all.
what about its battery condition.
how does avenger 150 perform in city condition?means mileage,cornering,sudden stoppage etc.
most bikes give us option of self start while holding clutch if bike is in gear during running . is avenger 150 giving this option .. ? please reply !!

i just want to know as AVENGER STREET 150 is a better option for drive to a person suffering from back pain.. as my friend suggested not to go for it instead take YAMAHA FZ but i think it causes leg pain as i m 6ft tall
Bajaj service center, Hyderabad - mechanic with limited knowledge. They know some specific works which is under "typical bike servicing" and some external minor spare replacement. Well, even if u tell them an issue and if that is not within there "typical bike servicing" list, they can't/don't do the job - don't even try..
For example, I took one of my bikes, Avenger 220 for servicing. For some reason the bike's front suspension was making noise (Feels like friction inside the fork). When I asked them to check, they said its usual in this bike. Also, I wanted to set rear suspension to a softener setting for more comfortable ride. They said, "It's not possible in this bike". I asked to check rear drum as the break seems to has less bite and stopping ability. The mechanic replied, "Why should I check rear drum in 1st service" --- Why not dear mechanic, if there is a problem? Is Bajaj so confident that there won't be any problem in the rear drum upto 2nd-3rd service?
I've been ridding for around 10 years, faced such issues in the past, so I had some ideas to fix. I opened the front fork, found the fork oil quantity was less (as per the manual). Though, it shouldn't have happened in a new bike, but I can consider this as human mistake, it can happen - not a big deal. However, refilled the oil as per requirement, no more noise. And for the rear suspension, the adjustable liver is visible without much efforts, just took a suspension spanner, rotate to take it to softener setting - as per my comfort. Also, tightened the adjustable spring nut of the rear drum - getting better bite and stopping ability but will have to change the break shoes in some days -- NOT FROM BAJAJ SERVICE CENTER ANYMORE- may be from a local garage or self-service.
The point is that the type of issues I had with my bike were easy fix and mechanics working under such a big brand - BAJAJ, should be able to predict such fixes.

nice.. but bajaj tried 150 cruizer if I m not wrong when it originally launched the eliminator.. was it? but it did not do well due to poor pick up and market sentiment.. this time around hope it for the pick up right and market sentiment is perfect!! would love to see an automatic 125/150 to attract female riders too
I am a tall person of height 6ft 2". Will I be comfortable on the avenger 150 street and will I have any backache? Cuz I presently ride an activa and I get very frequent backaches even in short ride and this is the sole reason I am planning to shift to a bike.

once again its the same pulsars engine being swapped to an avenger but the kickstarter is missing.d' guess it might be cauz of p180s gearbox?

It's an awesome bike who the hell suggested Bajaj to Stop it.....but someone told Bajaj cheated it's customer with 180 cc in this bike...
hello. I need to know 1 and only one thing... is the 150 street suitable for highway rides stretching to 80-150 km 1nce or twice a month, or we have to go for the 220.
am a daily commuter of 25 km a side currently.

Hi, I wanna know that are there any limitations on speed as to at what speed the new bike can be driven? Also if u can let me know that if I purchase this bike, can I go on for a long drive from Ahmedabad to Daman for about 400 kms the very first day of purchase? Is there any requirement of giving breaks/halt inbetween this journey period of 400 kms, if yes, at what intervals shall I take breaks inbetween and does driving a new bike for that long 400 kms the very first day hampers the performance/efficiency of the bike in any context? You should not exceed 60 km/hr mark and you can take a pause every 60-70 Kms in order to ensure best mileage out of your new bike.

Sir, Will it be easy to drive in traffics and hw abt long drive comfort?
It is quite comfortable due to its small height and the seating arrangement, The handle bars are high off the fuel tank to provide you with that comfortable position. Riding it in traffic also is not an issue, thanks to the small height again.
I am a first time bike rider, never drove a gear bike. Please suggest me if this bike is apt for me or any other models that are convenient for city ride purpose.

technical bro's i bought Avenger 220 street. Liking the bike! Its awesome! The only problem i am facing is that I had my first servicing, but still i am not getting a decent mileage! I am getting around 30-34 kmpl

I am a college student and have a daily commute of 20kms, 600kms monthly. I am not a sedate rider and like to hear the exhaust note many times. according to what I've heard from 220 users, it's very poor on mileage and some people are getting somewhere from 28-40(very rare). And when considering this, my fuel expenses will be very high.
Which one should I go for? 220 or the 150? Will the 150 feel underpowered after a while or should I go for the mighty fuel guzzler 220?
+Issac Abraham thanks for the appreciation. Given your requirements I would suggest that you go for the Avenger 150 as it is definitely more fuel efficient. I f you aren't in a hurry we would suggest that you wait until Auto Expo for UM Motorcycles and their cruiser range
I am visiting the Auto Expo but I'm not sure about UM. They are a big flop in the US and highly unreliable. Bajaj is totally opposite so I need not worry. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Sanjeet Gaonkar yes it does but go for 220 version if you travel mostly on hilly roads.

how does tb350 gives more mileage than rs200? even though being more heavy and more engine.displacement?😕 or even mileage equal to avenger150!
Mileage of any vehicle does not depends on engine displacement. Instead of that mileage depends upon engine bhp.Pulsar has about 23 bhp engine while royal Enfield 350 has about 19 bhp.
