@@citedtadpole442 i have 1 too plus a blue eyes white dragon lol, but they've been played before but i took care of them and they're in sleeves from the get go and look in great condition, glad i at least played them in sleeves lol.

Yugioh shoots itself In the foot with its plethora of re prints that constantly drives card prices down to pennies. Pokemon will always be the king of value. But yugioh has by far the coolest cards I've ever seen.

Honestly Rev at least from my experience... if you're a fan of a TCG like Pokemon and have been collecting for years than you would most likely be happy to watch you open any TCG on your channel. I've never watched or played Yugioh but I can easy tell the valuable cards when you're are opening them and would be more than happy to see more, or even if you wanna branch out and do MTG once in a while... I know literally nothing about MTG but I watch a couple MTG TCG channels just because I love hearing people talk about things they are super super passionite about, like how you, Leonhart, and Unlistedleaf are with Pokemon, and moreso you are a very charismatic and fun to watch content creator in general and I have learned a lot from you when it comes to Pokemon since I just started collecting again maybe 2.5 years ago, been out of the collecting game since 01, I had prob 85-90% of a complete Base Set 1 set back in 99' I had my Zard (was prob only a 7 maybe 7.5 condition but an original zard nonetheless) Didn't have the other 2 from the big 3 and was also missing Zapdos and Mewtwo. Sadly a Friend from school at the time was moving across the country and came over the night before he left and slept over and we took him home the next morning and said goodbye and when I got home later that day my binder was gone and this was before cell phones and he was gone, that not only broke my 10 year old heart that he would do that but made me lose all intrest in collecting bc of how hard I worked on that binder. Anyways sorry for all that lol I'm so glad I found you and Leonhart's channels and rekindled my passion for collecting! You're the man Rev! Never stop being dope af bro. 😁😎

When I was growing up I did a little pokemon but then I grew to love Yu-Gi-Oh. Honestly my collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards is amazing. I have only recently got back into Pokemon, maybe a year or more ago and such. But I have to be rooting for Yu-Gi-Oh. Also I have that same Red eyes from that set also the Blue eyes and Dark magician is absolutely stunning

I really wish I had gotten into Pokémon earlier than this past year. After rewatching the Sun & Moon series on Pokémon TV it’s become my favorite era and I wish I could get the card sets from that era😭

I got in at XY, packs were so cheap and now like phantom forces is around $30. That’s my favorite pack too and flash fire as well. It just gives me a lot of nostalgia but also like how the heck are they so expensive now

The thing is only the new packs with meta stables and rare cards in meta archetypes and good combo pieces are worth something in the yu gi oh cards like Evenly matched, ash blossom and joys spring, infinite impermance and nibiru the primal being are worth like 40 dollars or i might be outdated because i havent played in a while or watched any vids of it

I am a yugioh collector but wanted to get into Pokemon on the side just to fill up a 360 card binder with some nostalgic pokemon like Mew, Mew 2, Charizard, Rayquaza, etc... Gotta say that Pokemon brought the fire. Also the OG Legacy yugioh packs have the same pull rates as the reprint ones...

gotta redo this. those Yugioh reprint packs were from MJ Holding which is among the shadiest of companies for cards. Almost entirely certain they weigh their packs.
I gotta say tea! Pokemon but it's hard cause when I was a widdle bean I was collecting and playing Pokemon and then when I got into middle school I started collecting and playing Yu-Gi-Oh!! I still have my old deck from Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! I got way more Pokemon than Yu-Gi-Oh but I loved dark magician and still have a couple in amazing condition but also got a bunch of Pokemon cards in great condition and then also a bunch of the both in played condition! Will forever keep them!!

Try pokemon VS dragon ball z/super cards. New set of dragon ball super cards sell for $200+ raw. Some older sets sell for thousands raw. Wish I still had my old dbz cards :(
Team Pokemon! I always liked Pokemon more than Yugioh growing up, but I did have some pretty fun gameboy advance Yugioh games growing up. Overall, this was a pretty great idea for a video. I'd like to see more of these in the future.

Playing Pokémon was always very strange growing up. So Yugioh was my go to since 2004
In my personal opinion it's much harder to pull rares ultra rares and secret rares from Yu-Gi-Oh packs. I've been collecting Yu-Gi-Oh since it came out same with Pokemon and this is something I noticed right away..
Yugiyoh and Pokémon are really cool by the way I collect both and I have some spare evolutions Pokémon cards like gyarados electabuz pickachu and magmar
Yugioh packs were ROUGH back in the day lol. It was like 1 in 6 packs to get a holo or something. Pokemon was like 1 in 3 I think. I opened both a lot, but it was pretty hard to get much good from Yugioh sets back in the day.
Honestly I wish I would of kept my yugioh cards. I gave em all to my nephew once I went into middle school and he thru them all away. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
