I’m pretty confident there won’t be anything great from Walmart, they’re listed on there for a reason! I’d much prefer buying some official products, that way I at least know what I could get.

I believe you are getting treasure on this video. You can find crazy things on this kind of items.
Keep in mind that when they said "random" they never defined a set pool so technically those were kind of random....Also you know that mystery box's have to have profit margins so expecting exactly the value you paid is kind of sub optimal....
I mean some of mystery boxes do bring you up to about the price you paid however, they usually do it with bulk they have that they can't sell by itself that not much people want. Left over toys, pins, coins, EX/GX cards they can't get rid of, etc.
well they do buy booster packs and stuff for cheap because they buy huge bulk. so sometimes they can

2:35 if you play the tag, that is a good deal, but if not that is terrible listings need to specify if it’s for collecting or playing. So if you buy for collecting, you don’t get bulk

It's cool you take the bullet for other people in this regard who may not have that much expendable income. Got scammed twice on Amazon with pre-opened YGO Display and a Pokemon Build And Battle box kit despite 4-4.5 star reviews, it just makes my mood sour how people can be this scammy.

Off I bought a couple packs from goldengroundhog. I was content.
1st pack was really good many sun and moon cards 2nd set not as good but no duplicates and a lot of cards I didn't already have.
But think the packages are geared more towards new collectors vs veteran collectors. They are good for filling in collections
