One thing that works pretty well is to write each copy with a conversational tone like you were talking to a friend , to me it works like a charm. Dont be too much robotic with the messages.
I’m giving the discount code automatic on my homepage. Should I still offer another discount code on my welcome flow for future purchases or should I offer the original discount code on my welcome flow? Some people are saying it’s not good practice for the customer to leave the homepage. Thanks
Maybe try adding another form of free value to your clients in your welcome e-mail... Like a give-away or something ! But make sure you're provide value (it's fine even if you dont give any free content to your audience in welcome e-mail) But still giving something free would be a major Plus to your e-mail And who doesn't love free value?

Yes, it does depend on what they purchase (aka if its just a small $$ front end offer, and your welcome sequence is leading them to a bigger offer I would leave them in).
