My mom is micks aunt Annie that you talked about and he talked about her in the dirt and many interviews. She passed in 2020. Mick was always good to us having us backstage at concerts. Mom use to drive him and one of the bands he was in to do shows in a old box van. She use to tell me all kinds of stories about him.

I agree... I dont mean any disrespect for John 5, he is a wonderful guy... But kicking Mick Mars out of the band to insert John 5 in, is like patching and old torn up pair of pants with a piece of new cloth... Which as a matter of fact, will end up being unfair even to John 5 himself... What will happen with John 5 when another one, or even worse, all of the original members die, become sick or too old to play??? I'm not saying it will be the end of the World, of course he can get more gigs, but, I don't know, maybe a feeleing of loss if he gets attached to the emotionaly as a brotherhood as it commonly happens with banda members... I don't know... Just letting imagination fly...

I agree as well 100% they should have called it quits after the end tour . Nikki , Vince , and Tommy could still go play with other bands , if they love playing live . But of course Nikki wouldn't do this because the name MC is where $$ is . He is the problem . The guy should have saved his money better . He's been making millions for 30 years .

This was good,no bull crap that is mainly gossip. When Motley Crue first Strarted ,I got tickets from Nikki ,I worked at a Music store in Burbank California, called Killeens music. One note Frankie, as everyone called him ,because he basically either was riding the E or A string ,which was tuned down a whole step,Micks idea! Anyway, I was x at the first show ,at a place called Pookies, no fight, basically no people, buy I met the manager, micks brother in law, who dumped a half million into the band, with the promise that he would be repaid when Motley got their advance when they got the record deal, instead they fired him and wrote the song bastard about, him, that should tell you what they are like! It's hard to say this when they treated me great! But ,they have ruined peoples careers, and now mick, the guy who is Motley Crue, not Tommy,I'm a rapper from Compton, is a tren follower, Nikki is the biggest poser I have ever met ,and now John 5 ,or lowery, is going to maybe last one album’,and he will have to leave ,that whole band still is drinking and taking drugs! John doesn't like that. But wRob

Opps not done. Anyway, I give John 1 world tour and one album, and he will leave ! Rob Zombie doesn't drink or do drugs, who many albums did he do with Manson, 1. I know these guys Marilyn Manson was a huge fan of my band Trick Or Treat, and we went to see the first Iron Maiden show when Bruce came back ,front row at the Greek! So I know these guys ,and fame can destroy anyone! I hope Micks last few years are as good as possible, and Nikki needs to get on his knees and beg for forgiveness! He has a big tattoo on his calf of mick ,why would Nikki do that? Guilt? Who knows, but if Mick dies before they make up,it will huant that band forever, inwould hope!

Listened to the Crew for years, and Mick is the man with the hooks... Without Mick's creative rhythm guitar and hooks, the Crew would not have been what they were. It's a damn shame he has that paralyzing disease. The Crew's prime has long past, and the last song I liked by them was Primal Scream... Tommy's drumming in their albums was also very original and brought greatness to the songs... But, without Mick, there is no Crew.

Actually my man it's Corabi, John Corabi and he was on the self titled "Motley Crue" released in 1994. IMO their best record by far. He also had already laid most of the guitar tracks down on Generation Swine but before it was released Vince was back in the band so you only hear a little of John Corabi and only on guitar. Generation Swine and everything after was terrible. I never listened to Crue again other than the older records. I have always been a fan of Mick Mars. I think "Misunderstood" off of the 94 record was his best written song. Thanks for the info man it's really great to hear more about him and your delivery was great other than that one little missed fact about Corabi. \m/ \m/

@@stevelongmusic880 You know what my brother? To this very day I still don't understand why John ended up getting so much hate from the fan's. I've seen The Crue live three times beginning with the summer of 88 during their GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS world tour held at Legend Valley. The second show was held at the same venue during the summer of 1990 on their DR FEELGOOD world tour and the last show was held at Polaris Amphitheater, in the summer of 94 during their self titled album MOTLEY CRUE featuring John on lead vocals of course! Now the 18,000 seater didn't come close to selling out only 8,000 of us showed up for the show but let me say this my friend John's performance was a 1,000 times entertaining than both of Vince's show put together.

One thing's for sure, Crue won't get any better without Mick. John 5 is an excellent guitarist, but Crue is just not the same without Mick, and honestly, they were on a steep decline for years. But they never could have made it without Mick's amazing guitar craftsmanship. I had a strong understanding of where the guitar sits in a mix, harmony, song structure. The whole deal.

No disrespect it’s just a different way for me to look at it. Now I have a few.… When I hear the song, Jack and Diane by John Cougar menstrual cramp, I think of the 16-year-old couple I was in high school with that were sharing a third trimester pregnancy in the ninth grade. They kept the baby and went on to do great things… I think you’re environment greatly interprets what you hear in a song. There’s no disagreement… Just the way different people can absorb things. I like where your career is going Tommy Lee and Mr. Maher. Great things to come, gentlemen.

I saw them live and it was one of the best sounding concerts I've ever been to. I love the self titled album. To me it doesn't sound dated even today. And I think we would have gotten 5 to 10 more great albums with them had they stuck with him.

Nikki had the dream and songs, but Mick had the hunger. Everyone knows that no one person writes a song start to finish without the band having their say so.
I do see the group effort being part of it here and everything going through a filtering process of song writer, band, producer and label.

I’ve been a huge Mötley fan since shout at the devil and it hurts me to see and hear vince just being horrible live. I mean I don’t expect any singer to be perfect live but it’s obvious that Vince doesn’t put in the work. He’s lazy all the way around and I come from a work hard family. So to see Vince being a millionaire and has the resources to be better and not caring enough to go out and be the best version of himself just sucks. And by him being that way it’s a reflection on the other guys
