I don't think Tom had a lot of control of his video content during the 80's when he was with MCA. Probably just one of the reason's he was anxious to ditch them for Warner Bros. in the 90's. Kind of wish reactors would just listen to the songs without the videos. It's all right there in the words man.
Wow, I’ve never seen this video before and that one part where the young woman kissed the boy… well I looked up at you, JM, and you were looking right back at me! Am pretty sure we both had the same look on our faces. (now that was a reaction - lol) Different times I guess. I think the general attitude back then was boys will be boys and the power imbalance between an adult and child simply wasn’t even thought of. The thought was the boy got lucky. But very inappropriate to say the least. I agree with another comment. He does have other much better songs. Free Falling is a good one.
