I always wandered how these wonderful parts from L'Enfant would sound on piano...thank you for the answer and congrats for the excellent work of transcript/playing : )
I've played for many years, and I can't wrap my head around how this was done.. Ravel so often wrote for the keys first, and expanded masterfully to orchestra. He's distilled in in the opposite direction!
I recently discovered your amazing transcriptions. Do you have plans to sell the sheet music to this?? I'd love to play it someday since Ravel is my favorite composer~
I absolutely love this, but I have one quibble about the title listing: The Dance of the Frogs (Danse les Rainettes) is actually played second, after the Dance of the Dragonflies (Danse des Libellules), which itself also incorporates the Round of the Bats (Ronde des Chauves-Souris). BRAVO, Signore!
Great playing great recording and great transcription
5:57 That right hand is sooo satisfying, beautiful voicing and an amazing transcription.
Exquisite. I hope you will do a suite from the opera that encompasses more of the work from start to finish.
you maneaged to transcribe the magic of he original to the piano Mr. Sciortino! Bravo!!!!!!
Ma che meraviglia... stupendo... davvero eccellente!!
0:03 1. Danse des Rainettes
2:49 2. Danse des Libellules
5:01 3. Fox-Trot
unbelievable, astonishing - this is a very rare transcription and I think it sounds great

absolutely wonderful .. Composition and pianist. Bravo. (posted by Rosa Angelina Daye).
Excellent interpretation of Ravel- better than many famous French pianists that muddle through these pieces without zest.

trés bien, un vrai musicien! est il de la famille du cher patrice Sciortino?
Really wonderful performance... However, I wonder if there is a score available to purchase? Thank You.
