"What is this sound?" *Grievous climbing up the building, turning up his integrated bass boosted surround sound system to strike fear in his opponents*
You ever hear the tragedy of General Grievous? I thought not, it’s not a story Disney would tell. It’s an early 2000s legend. General Grievous was such an epic character that he could overwhelm multiple Jedi Masters and win the hearts of many Star Wars fans. Unfortunately he became so epic that his creator nerfed him into a mustache twirling echo of himself.
This was over the top fun and will hold a special place in many fan’s hearts. Episode 3 didn’t have to go this hard but they could have done much better with the character. But your opinion is noted, thanks for sharing.
@@BlueBoiOfficial well. in the main movies he is shown to already have hunted down a few Jedi and his mission was sort of to hunt Jedi. so clearly there is some merit to it. although I do agree. that part where he casually defeats a whole Jedi squadron with ease is pretty op. also as Mace showed you can hurt him with the force. so the Jedi just gotta get good
This is canon tho. Later in the episode Windu crushes his lungs before he flees with the chancellor. That is when episode 3 starts off in the movie. It explains why he coughs and is far weaker.
Part 3 is coming soon, and it will not disappoint! Plus more 2003 Clone Wars AMV’s in general. Stay tuned! 🎉 and PLEASE make sure to support the channel by Liking the vid. Means a lot. Thanks guys.
I don't even watch Star Wars like that but this was amazing to watch! Grievous is such an amazing villain in this series and you portray it well! The sync of the animation sound effects with the music is top tier!
Even better than the last one, dunno how that is possible. My favorite part is the beginning. I have been watching this on loop since yesterday. (I just subscribed)
Fun Fact: Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and General Grievous were supposed to be foreshadowings to Anakin's fall to the darkside. Count Dooku was supposed to represent the Fallen Jedi, Darth Maul was meant to represent the Sith Apprentice, and General Grievous was meant to represent the Cyborg. in my opinion, the 2003 General Grievous (in his name, the soulless glare in his eyes which evokes a sense of loss and hatred, and that he's a seemingly unstoppable force of nature, despite losing virtually all semblance of whatever he once was) does a much greater job representing the final transformation in Anakin's development. as opposed to the mustache twirling, coughing, coward we got in revenge of the sith and the clone wars series... I don't understand at all why George Lucas didn't just stick with Tartakovsky's take on him?
Something you should do is a "The Virgin Revenge of the Sith Grievous VS The Chad Clone Wars Grievous" meme. Seriously, the made Grievous from a monster to a joke.
George says he didn’t like this grievous because he wanted a cowardly villain, but that doesn’t work with grievous. You can’t have a brutal, Jedi killer, war crime committing, tactical master of a horrifying cyborg and also make him a cowardly idiot. His demeanor and competence doesn’t jive with his lore. I’m always disappointed whenever modern grievous is on screen. He doesn’t need to be this grievous but he needs some competence.
Palpa being genuinely surprised with Grievous running down the building’s side will never be not funny. “Oh shit, perhaps we made him a bit too stacked. Probably need to get that nerfed before order 66.”
@@starwarsbunker Indeed. The fight against Obi Wan was very lack lustering. For one of the best Generals in the Clone Wars he shoud have been stronger. The fight felt kinda forced to happen
I miss this version of Grievous and I'm still sad that the movies just went with George's shitty wish of him being just a cartoon villain that is a coward. At least it makes some sense I guess, the few organics part on his body are fucked after being crushed. But at least in the comics they were able to find some balance I guess, Grievous is not too OP and not too weak either, but this Grievous in this show is just the embodiment of Rule of Cool.
Definetely! He has a really cool and interesting story, it'd be awesome to have a spin off that would maybe transition between his old days, still as a fully organic being, in moments where he sees trophies, or visits his old planet, and his modern self before getting killed by Obi Wan, showing how much of an actual menace he was. I mean, this dude was literally Project Vader, he deserves more respect!
This was epic but I feel the Ithorian jedi and Magnagaurds needed their part in this mix, especially the ithorian adding some Bass and dank beats of his own.
I hear you. I didn't know where to cut it because I needed enough footage for part 3. I'm likely going to make a larger edit with all scenes of Grievous, one book edited mix
@@starwarsbunker I think a good transition with the ithorian can be something like where as it inhales, it is like it is sucking up the sound and opens back with a Blast of Bass, with greivious walking in the blast, it is like a gradually rising of the tempo of his music amidst the bass when they escape. The Magnagaurds I am not quite sure.
@@starwarsbunker CapCut is alright, I have 3 editing softwares. Shotcut, CapCut (for PC), and Davinci myself I just started experimenting with recently. I think Shotcut is good for quick and minimal edits, and CapCut can do a lot of the stuff in this video and is good with simple built-in effects. Davinci is a bit more complex to use but works also. I don't know what fully Davinci can do yet since I usually stick with the first two.
@@starwarsbunker Yeah the only time I'll probably use DaVinci is to apply a specific effect or function that CapCut lacks and not use for general editing

i wish they didnt nerf grievous in revenge of the sith - he would be a lot more interesting if he was cooler and more terrifying
Yeah same man. I wish they would revisit this version of him.
He would still be the same since the only two fights we see of him are with main characters who cant die
Personally I think he’s too overpowered like he doesn’t even have the force yet he has destroyed multiple Jedi what the fuck
@@BlueBoiOfficial well. in the main movies he is shown to already have hunted down a few Jedi and his mission was sort of to hunt Jedi. so clearly there is some merit to it. although I do agree. that part where he casually defeats a whole Jedi squadron with ease is pretty op. also as Mace showed you can hurt him with the force. so the Jedi just gotta get good
in my head cannon weather its true or not is that when mace crushed his lungs that greatly reduced his strength. Hence nurfing him
god this version of grievous was so unnecessarily cool. I almost wish he wasn't cos then id be less upset about the version we have in canon

*- General, I want to ask a question about music.*
*- Ask away, General Kalani.*
*- I know that you prefer bowed and brass musical instruments - its are the basis of your musical theme. Why did you suddenly switch to phonk?*
*- Phonk can be recorded and saved on a tiny memory storage device by inserting it into mine... the back of the head for further playback during the fight. It wouldn't be possible to sneak a dozen musical droids into the chancellor's private chambers.*
*- Why do you record the sound of musical instruments on a file-carrier?*
*- I only listen to it live.*

The clones in 2003 were badass as well, bro saw Grievous running on the wall next to the elevator and casually whipped out the rocket launcher lol.
