    I have this stove, it is a great product. Definitely worth the carry on short portage backcountry trips.😊

      Yes, a sturdy, well built stove.

    Just got one and I use a small pan making sure it doesn't go over the gas cover yet my canister was dangerously hot after...any ideas?

    hey yours was the only quick review I could find of this stove, used your link! One thought for another vid, is there any real difference between the many GasOne 3xxx butane stoves? other than btu rating, they actually have very little info on some of them on even their own site. just an idea.

      Thanks for watching. Yes, a lot of their stoves look similar. The main differences are size and weight, BTU’s and construction materials such as aluminum vs brass burner.

    I just bought this stove, and found your video. How do you safely remove and store the butane canisters? Do you store the canister indoors or outdoors? (The manual says outdoors, but I read that is not a good idea). Thanks!

      Just remove the butane opposite to how you inserted it. The one-way valve on the butane can will prevent any gas from escaping. I replace the cap and store my camp fuels outside (in the garage)

      @@TheOneCanoe Thank you! We don’t have a garage and wonder if it would be safe to store the butane canister inside the house. I understand propane is different and needs to be outside, but what about butane? Thanks for the help!

      @@RogerYenkins It can be stored indoors the same as any aerosol can just keep it in a cool place out of direct sunlight.

    How does gas ignition works ? Does it has battery?

    • @TheOneCanoe
      @TheOneCanoe  ปีที่แล้ว

      No battery required. The Piezo igniter works by using a tiny crystal of PZT, when struck by turning the igniter dial, produces a high voltage and subsequent electrical discharge that ignites the gas.

      @@TheOneCanoe thanks for you information. After some period do we need to replace something to get electrical discharge?

    Do you know how long a can of due lasts? 10 minutes? 40 minutes? 90 minutes? Just curious.

      I can't give you an exact time, but let me just say on a weekend camping trip I can use a single fuel canister to prepare 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners with a bit left over.
