This is the soundtrack to my nightmares. I have never heard this until now, and yet it perfectly matches the terror I experienced last night in my sleep...
this evokes that feeling of like. looking out over your shitty little hometown hoping to see something beautiful for a change but it's the same view same suburbs same roads etc etc. and you're like "fuck i guess i have to feel things because that's what looking over a city does right" but you just kinda feel the same, and then you realize that things have always felt the same and you realize that they will continue to feel the same for a very long time
it's like after you realize that depression isn't looking out of rainy car windows wistfully wishing for better days and shit. it's this boring excruciating emptiness always and forever. and you feel cheated out of that movie version of depression for some reason

Depression can also be the existencial void that some of us feel, the lack of motivation, the lack of beauty in life, the lack of those special moments that only seems to appear once in like 5 years, the lack of surprises and the everlasting loneliness... the concern that time will not stop, and that you are getting closer to your dead with everyday that passes. Everything that is around you is slowly decaying. So.. embrace your best and worst memories, keep searching to live authentic experiences and to feel authentic emotions while you can... even when most of life seem like an endless loop of the same shit... you are alive and i don’t know what that means but.. make sure to embrace every moment, to enjoy every person that you care for.. you will not be forever here..
I'm an audiophile myself and I'm curious, are we just hearing a single loop gradually deteriorating here, or have other instruments and pieces been dubbed over it? Are there two separate loops flaking apart at different rates?

The Folding Frequency of Ancient Dead Suns collapsing, fiery kites of plasma detaching from their Solar moorings. i read that it is the sample with intruments being played over top. one state is the sample another is williams midi to give it texture and fullness.
