Dear David, thank you for this and your other commentaries on our wonderful, lift-saving and life-giving faith. You have shared with us, your viewers, helpful insight. I'm grateful to you and the holy spirit for making it possible.
Thank you so much for this. My Bible study group are currently studying Acts using Precept materials and this is a perfect complement to the chapters we have just studied. Thank you.
The Way … good … love your presentations. Very informative in plain words I can understand. I’m not a scholar and yes I have study the Bible off and on throughout my life. It’s not easy to learn from it for me. I love Christianity for its simplicity …’love one another … ‘ of which I don’t think we are capable of. Why? 2000+ years later and we still have not learned anything about who or why we are here.
I have two questions that need explanation: 1. Jesus 40 days Temptation 2. The Transfiguration I’ve researched but have not read nor heard who witness the incident of the temptation and why no more comments regarding the incident of the transfiguration?
Hi Sylvia, as you suggest Jesus went alone into the wilderness and we know of no one who witnessed the temptation. We are left to assume that the knowledge of this was given to his followers by Jesus himself. Probably in the period between his resurrection and ascension when he taught them much. I speak a bit more about the transfiguration in my talk on the life of Jesus and his service. Maybe give that a listen. Warm regards, Dave
@@DaveRebbettes Thank you Dave. You are the only real live person to answer ever. I’m humble by your humbleness. I will keep my eyes open to catch any more chats of yours. They are very informative and yes, I can follow and understand you. I’ve listen to many podcasts (theologians, philosophers, theists, etc.) and somewhere along the way I get lost. No doubt the grace of God brought me to you and he has blessed you along the the way … ah! THE WAY!
Dear Brother in christ, thank you for sharing wonderful thoughts.

@@DaveRebbettesLet's not forget about the inspiration aspect to the story's when no one was present as in the case of the temptation.
