How does this channel not have more views and subscribers?? These nails are absolutely adorable and you are so talented. I am not a nail tech so I will probably never be able to use these techniques, but your videos are so aesthetically pleasing and relaxing to watch, and it's very interesting to see the process and all the work that goes into them. Also I'm not sure if you've done something like this already, but I think a "rainy day" nail set focusing more on the droplet technique you used on the daisy pinky nail would be sooo cute! I really liked the way that one turned out. Can't wait to see more of your designs in the future! Now I'm going to go binge watch the rest of your videos. lol
Thank you so much for the kind comment! 🥰 and I love the idea of rainy day nails and I’ll keep it in mind 🥰 I also really like the Daisy pinky nail hehe ❤️
Some days i can hole-in-one everything. Other days i am like a toddler trying to eat with a fork. Bodies are so random. I am so glad I found your channel again ❤
@@lizzieisbaked u should def consider it, not only can the allergy have really painful symptoms like blistering and even your nail lifting from your finger, but once u develop the allergy once, you'll always have it and wont be able to use any gels ever again. also, other stuff with the same ingredients will cause allergic reactions as well, theres some dental implants for example that will cause you to react, etc. consider being safe and not touching gel with ur bare skin 💫
So cute! Thank you for showing the nails on your hand and in different light! So helpful. And you did such a great job showing all the steps! Thank you :)
Absolutely gorgeous nail art! Someone referred to you as a “nail tech”, sorry but, that couldn’t be further from the truth….you’re a straight up ARTIST 👩🏻🎨!! They are DGEL painting gel pots which are my go-to for opaque nail art designs! I get them from Sweetie Nail Supply and have a 10% off discount code (DREAMY). I would say any kind of painting gel (not regular gels) should work though!
So pretty, I did my first gelx and nail art today, used the crap top coat and that was so hard 😢 It felt like the gel didnt want to come off the brush. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Is it meant to be thin layers and you build up?
You always have the most creative designs! I love these ones they are so cute!! I’m curious as to how you package the nails to customers to keep them safe :)
Thank you so much!! ❤️️ I really love this design too :). I'll might do a longer video to show my packaging process someday! For now, I do have some Instagram reels and Tiktoks that show my packaging ❤️️
How long should the 3D sculpting gel be cured for? So this would be the last step after curing nail polish right? Do you add anything on top the cured 3D gel?
Fully cure it for 60seconds! But I will flash cure parts in between if I’m happy with the shape as I go. Fully cure it before painting on it with gel and then Top coat everything at the end ☺️
I love how passionate you are and also taking your time to make sure everyone plus me has all the time and steps. I'm loving this set so much. Maybe I will try the set myself and have you let me know if they turn out cute? I'm just getting started in working with nails and building some products. Thanks for posting I will be watching 👀 many many times. 😅 Lol
yes, I have a few videos on how to put them on with sticker/glue/peel off gel + glue. The best choice honestly depends on what your preference is. For example, if I only want to wear nails for a night out or weekend, then I’ll use sticky tabs. If I want them on longer then I’ll use glue.
These are the cutest nails I’ve seen so far. I watch videos everyday, I keep up with some of the nail techs, even still….these beat everything. I really do love all the sculpted animals and everything! ❤ I know that they must be hard, I’m wanting to do something 3D with a poem I’m really fascinated with right now. It’s a raven. 🙄🧐🤨 is there anyway that you could try to do one in a tutorial style? I know it’s A LOT to ask…. I love you videos! 💜🩷💜 Can’t wait to see what you create next!
this set is adorable! 🫶🏼 thank you for sharing, can’t wait to try this design for myself! where did you get your nail stands? the large round bit on the bottom of the part where you attach the nails looks much more ergonomic than the smaller ones!
Thank you!! And YES! these stands are made by my friend Minute Nails (www.minutenails.ca) ❤️ they are sooo good and have relived me from getting hand cramps 🥹
I want to do some for myself. Just wondering don't you need to sand down the nail top and buff it before painting? is that what the nail prep was that wasn't shown in the vid?
i love how detail u show every step, i have one question, what is the thing u used at 19:06 to wipe off the excess chrome powder? im new to nail art! thank you :)
I wonder how the thicker opaque details and the somewhat translucent but still very thick 3D shapes manage to cure. If I apply my UV polishes even just slightly too thick it just creates a hard layer on top and underneath it stays liquid. I had a white polish that was especially prone to that. Ig with the shapes the translucency is key, but I am really impressed that the eyes and blush circles cured. Is there some sort of trick I am not aware of? Or could it be a quality issue?
I think it is using the right type of product. With regular gel polishes, thin layers are always ideal. The 3D shapes in this video are made with a 3D sculpture gel which is not even liquid to begin with and it is formulated for the purpose of 3D nail art. The eyes and the blush are painted on at the very end with a thin layer of gel polish.
I love the frog ㅠㅠ can I ask which liner brush you use? You linked it but there are a few different types and I want to make sure I don’t get one that’s too big
I actually don't file different shapes of nails often because I mainly make press-on nails where the shapes are already pre-made. I only file them lightly to perfect the shapes.
Painting gels are much more concentrated and can paint opaque layers on top of other colours making it easier to paint art/designs. Regular polish is thinner and less opaque so not always great for painting detailed designs because the polish disperses (hard to do thin lines) or can’t cover the base colours unless you do multiple layers (makes it bulky and not precise). Regular polish can comes in the form of pots too though so make sure you know what type of gel you’re getting!
Hi! How do you measure your customers' nails especially if they order online only? Do you have them send a photo of their fingers? (If they don't know their sizes or don't know how to size) Also, can we use the extension gel (the ones you can shape) instead of the 3D gel? :)
Most customers will purchase a sizing kit (a full set of blank nails with one in every size) for the shape/length of nails they want! This is the best way to measure because you have the nail tips to place on your nails. Otherwise, here are instructions on how you can measure yourself dreamylittlenails.com/how-to-measure-your-nail-sizes/ ❤️
For your second question, do you mean for sculpting the duck and frog? An extension gel as like poly gel? You can, but it will be more challenging to do since those are sticky so you will have to shape it with a brush and dip into alcohol to keep it from sticking. They also tend to round out quick so you have to work a lot faster and cure as you go!
@@dreamylittlenails I see thank you for your responses! I appreciate it! I wanted to do my own press-ons so I was wondering what alternatives there are since I don't have the 3D gel. Thank you!
Super cute design! You shouldn't touch the 3D gel with your bare fingers, though. Touching uncured gel like that will cause you to develop an allergy over time!
She most likely doesn’t want any wrinkles transferred from her gloves onto her design. Especially for us short finger gals any gloves are made for standard sizes and the fingertips just bunch up at the end causing all sorts if issues with 3D gel or Apoxie sculpt for example
Look hun...i know u take pride in what u do by look at at ur designs and its absolutely beautiful & cute. But just a little bit wonder like have u ever feel wanna giving up on what u doing right now and what did u do to overcome and keep going with it ? 😃
