Good interview from a bankers perspective. Hope to see a completely stable regime without these frequent changes. Axis is also infamous for being one of the most customer unfriendly in order to prevent this gaming of the system from few people a large majority is being inconvenienced
Insightful interview but I found it incomplete. This is very rare for a Paisa Vaisa episode. Some glaring misses: 1. Topic of credit card disputes was untouched. 2. Role of Visa/ MasterCard/ Diners and their relationship with the issuer bank could have been explained 3. Impact of UPI/ Rupay on credit card business was left out 4. Virtual credit cards and UPI payment using credit cards could have been explained 5. And finally I was looking for an explanation as to why some business owners say 2% extra if paid with a credit card. Big fan of Anupam sir, but somehow this episode wasn't up to his standards
You're doing a fantastic job! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
The guest skipped the important questions. The following thing I didn't like. 1. Skippes rbi action to unsecured loans. 2. Why were benefits removed. The reason cited could be handled other ways by banning those cards without removing benefits for everyone. Eg insurance etc. 3. How are card companies making money. He simply blabbered something. 4. Why there is annual charges on some cards and why is it beneficial It was a paid promotion for axis credit card which nobody in my circle uses. Lost the chance to make an interesting podcast if he was not hiding behind the jargon

Merchant discount rate that is discussed in podcast is probably the answer for your question no. 5.
Great start. We need a series of videos on credit cards. 😅

Loved it bring some more guests like him
